I have been living in this town for over 80 years now and it has served me well. "I have just returned from a long journey of great importance to me. Unfortunately I come back with little success. Nevertheless I am safely back home enjoying this fine elvin wine,"Eststar explains.

"The study of curses they say is one way to control a mind. I have noticed that faintly glowing ring on your finger. "It is the ring made by a evil arch wizard named Ish-i-tar in which I will not utter again," the wizard says in a low tone. He draws thousands of his victims strength from those cursed rings. Fortunately his tower is far from these lands for he is not someone to take lighty. Yes I have removed such a curse before a long time ago in the town of Poana beyond the Dwanen Mountains. A unfortunate lad such as yourself eager to see what powers the ring would hold," the wizard explains as Boromir serves a second round of drinks.

"Hmm I would be generous today and have you pay me 20 gold pieces and the round of drinks and I shall see to it that the ring comes off your finger," Eststar offers.

*onumorid enters the inn. goes directly to a table in a dark corner of the tavern and meditates over some problems. He says nothing to no one.*

*Walks back into the tavern, shaking his head and plucking out another arrow* Another drink please *tosses another arrow to the barkeep*

"Those high elvin archers must be good with their bows perhaps," Boromir says as he grabs the arrow and offers a Goblin's Brew.

Boromir, I warn ye, one day you will grow old and slow down, look at me, I am but a target now, I remember being able to dodge those arrows like they were hanging still in the air.

*takes the brew and chugs it down faster than normal* maybe sobriety is what has been slowing me down. *slapps a ruby dragon scale onto the bar, and heads towards his comrade in the corner*

"Yes yes indeed as he drinks the rest of his elvin wine and pays for his tab. "My manor is right next door to this tavern. When you have it just stop in and I shall treat your curse promptly. In the meantime I will mix some herbs, a few goblin berries, roo bush leaves to create a potion that will eliminate the curse of that ring. I will see you then," as Eststar the Gray puts on his pointy gray hat and gets up with the help of his unusual staff. He then nods at Boromir and gives a small wink with his twinkle of his eyes. Boromir smiles as he walks to the table. He knows that wink Eststar does and finds a small wafer. Boromir laughs and gives the wafer to Max. "Eat it and the ring will come off," Boromir offers.

Ahh you remembered, lets see that ring, oh the memories, how I hated this piece of garbage. *opens his magical bag and produces several strands of Unicorn Mane, and makes a thread, then slides the ring over the thread and ties the ends, then placing the newly made necklace around his neck for safe keeping* once we have our freedom to move about the country, I know of the perfect place to dispose of this.

He then looks at both Onomurid and Barbus sitting in the corners. He goes around to serve some drinks hoping to stimulate some atmosphere.

As a young human at the age of 20, Boromir never truly understood the mind of a dark elf. He is fortunate that he is left alone with whatever runs in their minds that could be to much to handle for such a young lad as himself.

With a big sigh he walks to the fireplace and throws logs into it. He starts a good fire and sits next to it for a moment contemplating the last few days.
