"Good night and sleep well. I will be closing the tavern soon," Boromir replies as he throws in a couple of logs to keep the fireplace going.

*onumorid sneaks back into the inn. He does not see anyone around and quietly goes to his room. As he goes into trance a very suspicious, devilish, smile comes across his face. He rests much easier than he did last night.*

early morn. There were some feathers just lying about so I took a few for me,to keep the chill off now I just snuggle back inside my little place which is so nice and warm now.

XI (day 7) of the time of the fall era

Adventurers who are accustomed to travel and exploring different parts of the lands sit frustrated in taverns waiting for the lord to lift the ban from leaving to and from the town’s main gates. Merchants struggle to make ends meet as they cannot travel to other towns to buy and sell new goods essential to their businesses.

The fifty feet tall main gate is opened for a brief moment to allow a messenger from the king to enter the town. He rides swiftly towards the lord’s manor. It has not been revealed to the inhabitants of what the news may be about as of yet.

Lord Elkinsinan still mourns for his daughter who is still under hostage from the mysterious rogue or rogue band who had plundered before the knights came the Wise Staff Shop, the Red Lamp’s Tavern, and the town’s treasury.

Boromir opens the tavern as usual in the early mornings. The rain is heavy outside and thunder and lightning follow. Winds are harsh as odd sounds are heard outside the main gates. Wolves howl as the inhabitants begin to slowly get use to the unusual sounds everyday knowing that the times of the lands are changing.

It is reported that orc camps are not far from Sinatorium. They are of a race that usually lives in the underground and where forced by the demons to live on the surface. It is rumored that the orcs have their eyes fixed on Sinatorium as a possible town to plunder and rebuild to their suitings. They are not to be trusted as Captain Bengalson sends out scouts regularly to keep an eye on them.

*walks in through the front door, you see a Elvin arrow through his wing* Boromir, please, some goblin's brew for me, and one to take back to the academy. *pulls the arrow out, and tosses it to the barkeep as a trophy for the tavern* I had invited one of the Elven Archers to the Academy for a little target practice when I got cocky and said he couldn't hit me, well, 4 shots later, my wing was clipped, doesn't hurt, just ticked me off, I thought I was faster than that, oh well, maybe a couple hunderd years ago maybe... I have to take him this drink, he felt too bad to accompany me to the tavern. *adds several gold pieces to the bar, and takes his drinks to go.* Thanks..

Boromir giggles a little, but makes sure that Barbus doesn't see. Afterall he doesn't want his throat slit by the ancient dark elf. He takes the arrow and stashes it in one of the many counters the tavern has. Serving the drinks he watches Barbus leave with the drink and out of the tavern.

Good morning Boromir, Barbus, how are you this morning?

Boromir smiles and welcomes the ranger. He offers him a drink before speaking. "The usual for me. Opening the tavern and serving the drinks. Criani is never here like she use to be," Boromir finishes in a somewhat complaining tone.

A elderly man(historian) enters and offers historical facts about the Lands of Bavidirian. He has been teaching Rathil Thad of the history and claps his hands after a long session.

"Congratulations Rathil Thad. You have done well in the test of knowing about your lands and have earned an additional 50 experience points," he says.

"Criani Peracien comes in to drop of goods needed for the tavern, yet is not happy about not being able to buy the goods for a good price outside of the town. Now that the town is on a lock down to protect us, she has to go to the foul merchants down the street at the Mesa's Trading Company and negotiate cheaper prices for the goods here at the tavern. She really doesn't want to raise the prices for the drinks and food here," Boromir explains while taking a sip of water from a mug.

Entirely understandable. I just hope that they lift this lockdown soon. I am starting to go stircrazy from having to stay in this town. It is a lovely town and all don't get me wrong but my life is on the road. It's only been a few days and I am already getting anxious.

"I can imagine that it bothers many who prefer to travel and explore, yet such common folks like me are thankful for the lords concern and protection of this town," Boromir replies while finishing his mug of water.

"Perhaps he will reopen the gates if the alliance manages to beat the demon hordes back into the caves they come from," Boromir says as his hairs on his arms begin to rise just for thinking about it.

Wolves howl as the inhabitants begin to slowly get use to the unusual sounds everyday knowing that the times of the lands are changing.

A elderly man with a heavy wooden walking stick enters the tavern. He only orders the meal of the day and some water. By the look of his gray robes one can see he is a historian and can give some historical events of how these lands evolved.

It is reported that orc camps are not far from Sinatorium. They are of a race that usually lives in the underground and where forced by the demons to live on the surface. I sure hope so, but I also hope it doesn't take that long. Who knows how long that fight could go on for. Anyway my friend. Thanks for the drink. I will be back shortly. I need to go find something to get my blood pumping. Perhaps I will go see if Barbus is at the academy.

"As always thank you for coming here each day," replies Boromir as he slowly tilts his head and cleans up the remains the ranger left on the bar counter.

*Comes back into the tarvern soaking wet. He tries to ring as much water off of himself outside the tavern but with the rain as heavy as it is it proves to be a fruitless gesture. He sits down at the table closest to the door in order to prevent getting water and mud all over the inn.*

*Now that he has finally dried off a bit he gets up and moves over to the dartboard. This has become his favorite way of killing time until the inn picks up*

Can I get another brew my friend. You must be bored out of your mind all day. This place is usually pretty quiet during the day if there is no festival in town it seems. How do you manage it?
