Extreme promiscuity is at least a sign of a mental health issue if not the issue itself as in a sex addict. Sexual addicts are very sad to see indeed. They ruin their lives for the addiction. Just like all other addicts do.

I guess people do not have enough to worry about in their own lives that they have so much time to sit in judgement of others and what bad things should happen to others because YOU do not approve of THEIR lifestyle.noway huh

but is it THEIR lifestyle when tax dollars are paying for it?

Again I will say this example is not the norm nor is the "existance of fraud everywhere". If people actually worked a welfare caseload like I did they would know the truth of these statements and I know they are not true.

As for her mental health, it is obvious she has problems mentally. You cannot see that? Or are you too busy worrying about the possible money spent on her? Which is more important mental health or money?

as I have said...welfare is meant to help people not a career. for those that do use it as a career...it's wrong. for those that use it for the purpose it is meant...then nothing wrong with that

fact is SHE chose the lifestyle that resulted in children. she had the choice...we didn't have a say. partying doesn't mean she has a mental health issue. sometimes it does but some just like to party and not think about the results until after.

She says she made some bad choices like partying drinking yet it is against her religious values to use contraception.

that was in the OP's post. She was mentally aware enough to know she made bad choices.

^^^ true and where the hell are those 12 FATHERS? they need to round them up and ring their pockets to support those kids...sheesh! grumble

No doubt!!
look what is the government paying like $1200 a month per kid plus given you a little for yourself dang she is bringing in the jingle

That is not true. Each kid adds about 100 dollars to the welfare payment and about 100 dollars on foodstamps.

This is true.

People are not getting rich on welfare. They are still living very poorly.

you assume she had a sexual addiction. how do you know she just liked to party and not be concerned about the after math. it should have been addressed by the government paying for it or by her loved ones before she ever got to 12 children

All addicts say this. I would have to assess her to be sure but she has mental health issues. It is obvious.

I see you cannot get over your prejudice to see that their is obvious mental health issues. That is not my problem. I can guarentee you I could identify her mental health issue and refer her for help and she would get better.

From my experience in managing low income housing some years back, it seems that it is a family cycle. The kids are raised on welfare and grow up knowing how to work the system and in turn raise their kids the same way. I think welfare should be a hand up to those that need it for a short period of time

maybe obvious to you. but not to me. i know alot of people on welfare that are more than capable of working but they don't because they want money for doing nothing and even though they can earn more working...they don't because it's fre money to them

The way to beat this cycle is education. If the family remains low educated then they will do what they know. It can be beat if the children are educated.

It is your duty as a citizen to report "all" these violators to the welfare department, so if you are not doing your duty, stop complaining.

and you are getting that from where? I don't see it in what the OP post said...no. the government (if they have been supporting her since the 1st couple of children should have evaluted her. I don't know they did or didn't. and you apparently didn't see where i said someone should have stepped in...to either say stop or get her help. and don't assume I don't know anything about mental health issues. i have worked with alot of people with problems of every kind.

excuse me??? if there is fraud...shouldn't they be reported? and NO i haven't reported anyone but I have no problem if someone did. in fact they are under investigation because the government themselves have evaluated them. should tax payers have to pay for those who abuse the system? nope

I made a report to welfare regarding my childrens father. He hadn't even seen them in a year and a half. All of the sudden Washington State sends a wage garnishment to my work for child support! He had gone in and said they lived with him and was collecting full cash and food benefits. When I turned him in I was told that there were so many large fraud cases that they probably wouldn't even get to his.explode explode explode

If this is true then you know that promiscuity is actually a sign of mental illness if not the mental illness itself. So why not just say that. Instead of berating the people who need our help which is sometimes part of the problem, not the solution.

Wow, that is not common at all. Very rarely do the fathers do that, for one it gives the welfare department all of the information on them and addressess and stuff. They will catch him, the process is long but they will do it. For he gave them all they needed to do it...lol

the people I have mentioned in my examples...I KNOW PERSONALLY. i know what they have said themselves. I know here they try to regulate the welfare in different ways. the state would have stepped in if that woman did have probelms and either would have gotten her help or something if the family didn't do anything.
