I've read your letters over and over, I remember each time we've spoke. I'm sitting here having coffee and watching the door. I know that in a few minutes you'll be coming. I wonder if the other people in the cafe have any idea what's about to happen. This will be the first time we meet face to face.
I have to ask myself if this is all internet infatuation...or will it be more? We connect so well on the phone, your voice gives me butterflies. I cannot stop smiling when I talk to you. We connect on so many levels it's nearly frightening.
Are you as nervous as I am? Do you have the same questions rolling around inside? Are you playing the what if game as you drive here? Have you considered turning around and just not coming?

The ringing of the bell as the door opens echoes through my entire body. Your smile is so bright, your eyes so gentle. All I can do is stare, dumbfounded as you make your way to me, weaving around people and tables, never breaking eye contact.
