Dont worry about being different. I suffer from Hepatitis C and let me tell you alot of people have been scared off. But I found someone who loves me for me, illness and all. Be proud of who you are and never fear being different, because different makes up unique!!!!!!!!!!

You laugh at me
You point and stare
I want to cry
I dont understand why?

I dont want to be different
Why cant I be like my friends
Why cant I be normal
Did I do something to deserve this?


Who did I piss off
To end up so ill
I just want to be
Like a normal girl

I dont like my meds
I dont being sick
The clock of my life
Seems to go tick tick

I want to go dancing
I want to go to college
I dont want to have
Stays in the hospital

I dont to have tumors on my liver
I dont want to hear the words "no cure"
Why does my future have to be so unsure?

Nothing I can do
Nowhere to run
I might as well live
My life and try to have fun

Just because we were different?

Were we not pretty enough?
Were we not smart enough?
Because we would rather
Read a book of poetry
Rather than go to a basketball game?

Was our hair not long enough?
Not blonde enough?
Were are eyes not blue enough for you?
Why are we 'freaks' and 'weirdos?'
Because we would rather wear black and gray
And not wear yellow or pink?
Because we had glasses?
Because we didnt follow your crowd?

Well Im sorry you hate me
But Im proud of who I am
So if Im a 'freak' because
I express my individuality
Then I will yell out to the world
"I am who I am!"
"If you dont like me"
"Then its your loss"
"Call me a freak or a weirdo"
"CAUSE"
"I like being an individual!"

I remember when I was on Birth control. I had only been sexually active once. And I was very late, almost a month. But my mom knew and when we went to the docs, they thought it was a tubal pregnancy, luckily it was a false alarm and I was not pregnant at all. I had missed my period due to the effects of the birth control. It would have been hard because the man who would have been the father of the child left me because I told him I wasnt ready for sex, that I wanted to wait, and I had felt pressured doing it the first time. If I had been pregnant tho I know I would have had the support of my friends and family, cause when we were not sure if I was or not they were all there for me in everyway possible. I was only 16 at the time, so it was scary. But if she is or isnt just let her know that you are there for her and that you love her. I think a big fear (I know mine was) Was that family would turn her away.
I hope that whatever happens you are able to work threw it.

Ok, all I did was post a poem for my bf David, and my ex starts a huge fight. Its messed up. And he said some really hurtful things. Both to me and my boyfriend. I dont understand what his drama is, he ended it with me so its his loss.
