Why is it that when men find out that i have epilepsy it scares them off? I dont know why it has to be such a big deal ya i cant stay out all night and party like people my age do... But I live with it, but it's like every time i tell someone they get all scared and treat me like im going to break or something i'm not glass i don't get it???

people are afraid of anything different
they are not educated about it

hey; let me tell you a secret; big bad bob has it too...its a ***** but life is too...most people have phobia's and if they can't deal, move on...you'll be better off

its alot of miss information,they dont know about it and its different from them so they run..

I understand that but some wont even give me a chance they just run scared lol.. I just wonder why And if i'm ever going to find someone thats going to except it...

you'll find someone who'll look past it.if they run then you know they can't or won't deal with it.Good way to filter men out and not waste time.

i have dealth with it for years and i have lost women from it as well, couldn't handle it or me; understanding is the hardest trait to find in a mate...trust me

you'll find it, just don't get discouraged and give up or settle for someone that doesn't love you the way you deserve to be loved. It isn't always easy, but once found it is well worth the wait. Shoot I'm still waiting but it'll come, most guys don't want something they have to try and work on, or understand, they don't want to put the effort into it, and they don't find out what they'r missing. I've found out that if you fall in love with the person's heart first, all the rest is just bonus, but that's just me

the ones that run from it are not the right ones to educate and that you would want for a mate. be patient and it will happen.
if it is not that it is other things that people run from...kids, etc

Dont worry about being different. I suffer from Hepatitis C and let me tell you alot of people have been scared off. But I found someone who loves me for me, illness and all. Be proud of who you are and never fear being different, because different makes up unique!!!!!!!!!!

well there you go, your a strong woman by the sounds of it, and just stick to your guns and that man will be swept off his feet, and consider himself blessed to have found you, as he should. I do know how har it is to wait and wonder though, I wish you luck and peace of heart till you find that man.

I was married once time to a woman that used to have grandmahl siezures, she was not epileptic, it had something to do with a different condition. Anyway, she finally got it under control with medication but at the time I really did love her and her condition was really not a big deal since she was not having seizures 24 hrs a day. I guess it is on how you look at it, it the glass half-empty or is it half-full. Any man that will not have you because of what I consider a minor condition does not deserve your time anyway.
