buddha is not worshiped.buddhism is not a religion.if i did'nt believe in nonviolence i'd hit you with a stick.my primary passion is physics.please don't pull us into a religious debate.its true our science is based on knowing we could be wrong, thats why we start every expression with "IF"or "from the point of view of the observer".physics is an honest science, thats what makes it beautiful...ever notice that two of the hallmarks of mental illness are charm and carisma, now check out the teachers of most religions and take this into consideration...peace...

OK,if you can have a jedi church i'm gonna start an elvis church.elvis was alot like jesus cause he hung out with prostitutes and came back from the dead(we have sightings all the time).in this church if you SIN you will be "all shook up".if you do not repent you must go to the "heart break hotel"where you will suffer for ever and ever.go ahead and laugh but check back in fifty years and you'll see the faithful in jumpsuits and sun glasses.thank you very much(said with a bit of a snear)...peace...

the expansion of consciousness is a dangerous step if one is not prepared.L S D got a bad rap because people were not ready to have certain doors opened in there minds and could not cope with self revelation.in the sixtys we stepped into and out of its use cause once the doors are open it serves no purpose.we read books and search outwardly for understanding and wisdom when it is already within us.the great spiritual teachers throughout history were made of the same spiritual stuff we are, they simply had nothing more as we do.think about it,the greatest truths are always the simplest.less is more....interesting factoid:L S D was first synthisised by the C I A...peace...

curious that we speak of religion as though it were tangible.religions have a life cycle just as humans do.thank god, godess, supreme being, etc.in the beggining they offer an open forum for seekers,an exchange of ideas.then comes the ideaolagy and dogma that restricts its followers and breings its death.history verifies this.few people will follow a religion that is uncomfortable.why do you suppose the christians stopped the practice of circumcision (ouch),they needed converts!in my opinion there is only one sin independent of circumstance,to allow another person to take charge of your spiritual growth.thank god we have television evangelists or all would be lost lol lol lol lol...peace

the inertwining of space and time, even planktime is effected by mass.to speak of measuring time is meaningless.since mass slows spacetime, the spacetime at your feet moves more slowly than the spacetime at your head which is further awsy from the mass of the earth and is also effected by the mass of your body...so,it appears that one of the most unanswerable questions in creation is "what time is it?"...peace...

belief and knowing are illusions,a hickup in the stream of info that is infinite.when we believe or know something we have stopped assimilating info.healthy growth requires us to stay in a state of nonjudgment which is difficult at best when we consider the influences of the human condition, also,we must deal with a level of self awareness that no other species has.we know we will die, this awareness directs our lives at the most fundemental level.the abilitys of the brain and its eminations are still unknown.and so,we comfort ourselves by believing and knowing things because it gives us a sense of stability and foundation...

if i read one more profile that says I LIKE WALKS ON THE BEACH i'm gonna THROW UP! what the hell is wrong with you women! did you all read the same romance novel? i lived on the BEACH and walking on it sucked! theres no solid footing so you look drunk.each step takes a million calories of energy and makes you pant and breath hard...nothing like being on a deserted beach with a strange man whos breathing hard is there girls? not to mention the sand that always manages to get into your underwear and feels like a sheet of sandpaper in your butt crack...yeah you might laugh but its true...so enough with the walking on the BEACH already!its friggin uncomfortable!it just sounds good...sorry,had to get it off my chest. OH,this is for that special someone(you know who you are),yes putting whipped cream there while useing olive oil on my #$%^ is perfectly acceptable...just dont ask me to go for a walk on the BEACH!!!
