^^^only works if the friendship is important to them both. It can definitely be a balancing act, but I do think it can settle, grow into a good friendship. They both have to be sensitive to the others feelings.
The Humble Society gave me a "Most Humble Man" pin once, but I actually wore it so they took it back.

Awesome, what kind of novel? Dectective, romance, generational (there's a word for that, but I can't remember), mystery..... Would ya send me a chapter to read? Hm...awe...why not?  Is it how two people meet through an online dating forum? Oh, maybe a dective novel how a nutter psycho is hunting women through a dating site. So the Harry met Sally question, can men and women really ever just be friends?
Well, all the people I PM live a gazillion (yes, that's right) miles from me so what choice do I have? I mean seriously, what was I thinking? Only an idiot... But....cough....I digress. Yes, if I find someone interesting I'd rather have them in my life as a friend than not at all. Unless it doesn't being happiness to one of us, then it would be time to say good bye. I'm actually still friends with most my exes, even from high school. Why? Because I'm adorable. |
