HANDS OFF THE TALL MEN, girls! Save them for us tall chicks! It's only fair! Funny ... it seems that most of the women I've ever dated have been right around a foot shorter than me ... I can't get used to the tall ones! |

BUT....what if he was 5'6" and your dream man. Everything you wanted but shorter then you sad to honestly admit, he'd not be my dream man at 5'6" but I am being honest See, no different than having a prefence for someone's "thickness" (or lack thereof), or their body art (or lack thereof) ... as long as one isn't being cruel about it, as has already been noted |

Of course, so I guess everyone is in their shallow mode. Oh well doesn't matter because I have my special someone who loves me no matter what size I am. Ok, now look at my profile and bash me for no real pics, and whatever else makes you feel superior. I am done. Have a good day. Wow, I wish I could be perfect like you ... |

For the most part it is our taught prejudices that make us repulsed by others anyway. If we can realize this and put what we have been taught aside we can experience greater loves than if we hold to those shallow teachings and try to please others by our choices. Where the hell do you get this psychobabble? We like what we like. Some of us aren't taught any prejudices, but we still find certain characteristics more endearing or attractive than others about another person. The great thing about it is, every person is different, and has a different set of likes and dislikes. So what might completely repulse one person about someone may be one of the very things that will attract another person. We were designed beautifully that way. |

That took the death of an icon like Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, to actually knock the "Octomom" out of the headlines. I didn't think she was EVER gonna go away. Short of the assasination of the president, I thought she was here for good. Wow ... I haven't heard about her for months! Of course, I almost never watch TV ... I'm going to assume that's where you were hearing about her. |

Most of you guys don't know how it works. You can cancel and replace one passenger, as long as one original passenger stays on the booking. I work for Princess Cruises, so I know my stuff. The only big problem is if you booked airfare. Also, if a 3rd passenger in the room cancels out, it is usually a full reimbursment for their fare. What cruise line are you sailing on? If I end up going, this would be cruise #3 for Carnival. It would be the ship Imagination. I heard it was remodeled and I was elated about going ( I love cruises!). I just have my doubts (obviously) about going because I'm a firm believer in "It's not what you do, it's who you're with". Your doubts are quite well-founded, IMO. I know this probably won't be fun for you to do, but since the cruise is only two months away, it would be a good idea to talk with him and find out if he would be willing to reimburse you and take someone else in your place if you decide not to go. If he says he would be willing to do that, you'd be in pretty good shape. If not, your decision would be whether you want to eat the cost. Also, if you have your booking number, call Carnival and see if there is anything that can be done. There may not be much they're willing to do, but it can't hurt to ask, and perhaps they can offer suggestions that we're not thinking of. Whatever you do, you should do it fairly soon, probably by the end of this month. Good luck! |

The only big problem is if you booked airfare. Also, if a 3rd passenger in the room cancels out, it is usually a full reimbursment for their fare. What cruise line are you sailing on? First, that is true only up until a certain point. As it gets closer to the time of the cruise, less and less money will be refunded. Second, no one on this thread was talking about a third person being in the cabin in question, so what was the point of bringing that up? |

dang never thought of that, guess it's more like 15 people well maybe more than 15 but the choices are drastically reduced once again by those that are married, those women that only like women and those too far away to consider.. and so on... Way to accentuate the positive there! |

if you can do it only as friends...yes. most cabins have comfortable couches and you can sleep separately. or see if you can get out of it. but if you can agree to go JUST as friends...why not? you 2 can enjoy yourselves without each other on the cruise as well I don't know what cruises you've been on, rose, but "most" cabins don't have such amenities. The suites definitely do, and occasionally a balcony cabin might, but most cabins on the well-known cruise lines are quite small and are simply a place to go crash in between doing all the fun things there are to do on the ship. [If anyone is reading this and is thinking about a cruise for a honeymoon or some other romantic trip, if you want a little bit of room in your cabin, I highly recommend at least a balcony cabin if you can possibly afford it.] |

That and yeah I may be a bad person because I would feel no love loss for Britany but in reality here is a list of celebrities I would LOVE to see buy it from freak accidents and natural causes like Lightning strikes and shark bites: Louis Farokahn Reverend Al Sharpton Jessie Jackson Hilary Clinton Most of Congress for that matter... Bunch of idiots! The ACLU The NAACP TV Evangelists Bin Laden (preferably eaten by pigs!) Ted Turner Just loosing these idiots would let people think clearer... But then again who am I to judge??? I'm just a nobody... Then again... People can kiss my banana! Feels good! I know, I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Bad... I like your list, Andy! |

I'm neither a Boise State or OU fan, obviously, but I watched that entire game and it was awesome. Even the commentators were saying it was the best game they'd ever seen. Really? I can't imagine which team could possibly be the one you root for ... |

Please! If men wanted to sleep alone, they wouldn't want women for sex in the first place! Quite a few men want the sex and then want the woman gone so they can sleep alone... I'm sure the same is true for women. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Ditto , to that myself I love the cuddling ect that comes later. And even the mornings even more....... Let's hear it for mornings! i hate mornings, i'm a night person I'm a night person, too ... but mornings are great for one thing, at least! |
