people don't wanna know what's wrong with em. They'll just get defensive and resentful better to just say "it's not you, it's me" even if it really is them I disagree ... I'd like to know, so that if there are things that I can change, and am willing to change (that's the key), I can do that. I don't know about anyone else, but I can be pretty oblivious sometimes ... and I've had situations (dating relationships and friendships) where people have just stopped communicating with me altogether, leaving me to wonder what happened ... now, I have some friends that I have told, "If I do or say something that bothers you, I may not realize it ... so please feel free to tell me!" |

That's never a good thing, right? When he says we've got to talk, and that he wants to do it in person, not over the phone... Probably means its over then, huh? Actually once I told that to my ex (when she wasn't an ex) and I didn't mean to brake up. She showed up almost shaking and nervous...and she almost killed me after she figured out that i was just gonna ask, which movie she wants to see. 
It is somewhat surprising you're still alive after that ...

i looooove intelligent men. i hate elitists. so it just depends on how far they've taken the idea that they are smart. and sometimes... no matter how intelligent you are, nothing beats common sense and street smarts which can sometimes elude the most intelligent of human beings. so bring on the nerds. ;p oh.. and the huffington post just did an article on why women love nerds. ;p Arianna Huffington is one of the biggest elitists there is, and her site attracts mostly others of her kind. Fascinating that someone who "hates elitists" would cite a post from there.
