I am very cautious with that of influence as I at some stage at the receiving end. The thought of quiting crossed my mind every blessed day. Reasons for staying were much stronger so I decided I would stay and fight the bad with the good, kept doing my work without hard feeling or negative reaction and humbled myself more.

Hey this is strange! We in LDR are looking are ways and means to get closer to our partners.

I understand people aint the same though. Does it mean if you found a girl you really like in your locality you would move away to a distant place for the sake of that excitement?

It looks like we all attach different meanings to these phrases. Maybe they need a formal explanation just like we have rules that we need to read before posting on community discussions.

I thought an activity partner is a person I want to appear with in public without any sexual commitment, be it sport, formal occasions like business dinners/meetings, etc.

From a young age I have a serious personality, not easily approachable. Got worse with age. It worked to ward off suitors when I was still a student. Later it worked adversely.
