Probably one of the most interesting (I think) things about Disney were his last written words, anyone know what they were...without GOOGLING!

Curiosity got the best of me. Had to google. WTF!? I'm trying to think if he's even been IN a disney film.

Yeah. I know. Lived in Florida since 2006. The state that is supposed to be all "environmentally friendly" is allowing people to abuse these poor wild animals.

My take on it is this. We've had pet dogs & cats since pretty much the beginning of time. They are mentioned in The Bible & in ancient times (Egyptian/Mayan/Aztec/etc...) so I think it was just kinda meant to be that we have these creatures as pets. Like you said...through years of selective breeding & domestication they are no longer considered "wild" even though they are "animals".

Not the case with ANYTHING other than a domesticated house cat or dog though. These animals have always been wild and have never known any other way, so I think we should respect that and leave it how it is. Unless it's a special case where a lion or something has to rescued from some other idiot that didn't know how to take tare of it, and just tried releasing back outside, then that would be okay for someone else to take that cat in, but they should ship it back to Africa, or India, or wherever eventually.

Hey think positive. You might be surprised and find out that the hard times she might have been through will make someone who treats her well very appreciated. Best of luck.

Thanks. I am trying to keep a positive attitude about this, but from what I already know...she's only 26 & she has 3 kids, by 2 different guys (who I think shes still hung up on)...plus she claims to be living with her soon to be divorced, now "seperated" husbands mother, so I think you can see why I might be just a tad bit discouraged at this point.

I think Next Generation aka Return Of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is extremely entertaining, it's bad, and surreal at the same time. Part 3 had potential to be good but thanks to the MPAA it's a chopped up mess.

I agree. From what I remember, I enjoyed it. I wanted to add it to this lineup but I don't own a copy & I'm pretty sure it's not on Netflix. Oh well. Maybe next time.

My copy of part 3 has an r rated & unrated version. I watched the unrated, and thoroughly enjoyed it (first time watching it). It felt a lot like a lame attempt at a remake of the original, except this one was trying to introduce more of the family. And Viggo was just a bonus. I like pretty much everything he's done, so...

Ok...so, I just watched this fascinating documentary called "The Elephant In The Living Room" dealing with this issue, and it kind of brought up a lot of questions for me.

Is it "moral" or ok to take a wild animal from it's natural environment and try to raise it as a pet? Apparently it's very popular and very legal to do this in America. I mean...if you really think about it, common household pets such as cats & dogs didn't start out like that. They too, were once creatures of the wild. Us humans, brought them in our homes & our lives and began the whole pet "breeding" thing. Kinda messed up thing to do, but I'm a dog owner & I love them, so I can't judge.

One question that just seems to BAFFLE me to no end though, and maybe someone can help me out with this. Why is it ok to own a grown lion, tiger, mountain lion, venomous snake, etc... (basically something that could kill your family, and possibly escape and kill your neighbors in a matter of minutes), but you can't own a harmless pitbull?????

I've been having random marathons lately. The last one was the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series. 1-3 skipped "The Next Generation", and finished with Michael Bay's reboots. Good stuff.

Before that I watched Star Wars episodes 4-6 on blu ray. Pretty cool, but I was bummed that they weren't the original versions I fell in love with as a kid. George...dude...get your **** together, and just release the originals already.

Before that I watched two of the best 80's cop action franchise's imo. Die Hard 1-4 and Lethal Weapon 1-4.

Damn. I'm jealous man. I would've loved to see Zappa live.

I've been to some pretty epic shows in the last 20 years. Some of the most memorable...

Tool w/Melvins - Aenima Tour 1998 Phoenix Civic Plaza

NIN w/A Perfect Circle - Fragility Tour 2000 America West Arena Phoenix

Ozzfest 2006 - Cricket Pavillion Phoenix. Seeing Black Sabbath take the stage after Iron Maiden was pretty freakin awesome.

Roger Waters The Wall 2011 Tour - St Pete Times Forum Tampa Fl

Iron Maiden Maiden England Tour 2012 - Atlanta GA Last concert attended, and definitely one of the best.

Haha. Yeah. We'll see. We haven't even gone out yet, and she may have too much baggage for me to want anything more than just a fling.

The Abscence. Based out of Tampa (birthplace of death metal). They are pretty badass. Check em out.

Also Dark Tranquilty (already mentioned). Highly recommended. Very similar to Insomnium.

If you have any kind of "celebrity" status you're not very liked in my book. Pretty much anyone who you always read about in tabloids.

And Carrot Top of course.

LOL. James Cameron is a wanker. And yes...Titanic is the most overrated movie of all time. I don't get it. He made two of my all time favorite action films (Aliens & T2), followed by Titanic & Avatar. WTF dude?!

Quite possibly the most heart wrenching documentary I have seen thus far. Sad, sad stuff. People just blow my mind sometimes.

Iron Maiden - It totally "suits" them. wah, wah, wahhh

Fallout Boy - Not a huge fan, but I love the Simpsons reference.

Tool - Not sure why I like this name so much, I always think of it as they are a "tool" for music appreciation.

Nine Inch Nails - another band name that fits the music style.

The Doors - Kinda like "Tool", in the sense that they are "doors" leading to various avenues of music & perception.

I digress. Not sure why I posted that. Probably because I gave up on the whole online dating thing and decided to break out of my shell. I've actually been talking to chicks IN PERSON (and if you really knew me you would think this miraculous), only to be shot down one by one. But...I don't give up very easily, so I decided to try my luck with a new co-worker last night, and everything kinda just fell into place and she agreed to go out with me. Persistence finally paid off for once!
