They're in Orange, part of LA, right?

About how much would I spend including hotel room to go there? How many days do I need to see it?

Yes I know Disney alright. I'm a big fan of just about every movie he ever made. His animations were legendary :)

Should be fun.

Probably one of the most interesting (I think) things about Disney were his last written words, anyone know what they were...without GOOGLING!

My older sister and I were at the debut in
Anaheim with our parents in July of 1955,
when it opened.

They didn't have to push the 'Magic Kingdom'
part, it lived it.
It was everything a child dreamed of, come
to life.

Huge walking-around animals from Disney
characters, chatting with you and allowing
pictures to be taken.

We went every year because my grandparents
lived in Laguna Beach, nearby.
It NEVER got old. Last visited in 1975.

Only gripe I ever had was, by the time I
finally hit the height sign to be able to
drive the bumper cars, I already had
my driver's license :-(

And this reminded me of something else.
My folks could only afford one pair of
Mickey Mouse ears (it was a black cap
with mouse ears on it) but there were
two of us girls.

So, my mother would tie her black bra on
my head to simulate Mouse ears so I too
could watch the Mickey Mouse Club on TV.

You simply could not watch it
without Mouse ears.

Curiosity got the best of me. Had to google. WTF!? I'm trying to think if he's even been IN a disney film.

BTW. Lived about 2 hours away from Disney World for 5 yrs & never been. Never had the desire to. Disney is about as bad as Walmart as far as greedy, selfish, money hoarding corporations go. I love how they release the exact same version of a classic film every 10 yrs just so they can slap a "special anniversary edition" sticker on it, and jack up the price. And they know the masses are suckers for it so they take advantage. Thieves.

They are both "better" for different reasons...Disneyland is retro...very charming....Plus the weather there is so much better ...Disneyworld has more to offer, like Epcotbigsmile ....One thing I did notice, although both were well maintained, Disneyland was impeccably clean...happy ...It may be different now though...I last visited in 1986.... 26 years agoblushing

Yep, he was in several in the late 60's through to the mid 70's. I'm a fan of his Dexter Riley Trilogy.

I have a question, we have Disney passes. At California adventure they have paintings of ther older
Characters. One is called Oswald. He looks like Mickey with long rabbit ears that stick straight up. Who is he?
Did he have any shows? My son loves him.
