I met Betsy at Screamfest. We talked for about 15 minutes. She was one of the coolest chicks I have ever met. We were so deep in conversation I forgot a pic & autograph. Haha.

Hmmm...I don't know. I'm pretty open minded. Probably music & or movie preferences. Two of my biggest passions, so if we couldn't enjoy them together, it probably wouldn't work.
And they have to like my dog of course. And no hypochondriacs please. |

I think Dave Grusin's score for The Goonies is exceptional! I'm one of the lucky few hundred to hold a copy of the official score soundtrack, can't believe it hasn't been released in stores! Sleepaway Camp has a badass soundtrack! haha Right on. Cool collector's item! |

Flash Gordon (1980)- Queen's rock score just meshes well with this movie. The rock score during the battle between Flash/The Hawkmen and Captain Ajax's space ship is freaking wicked. Batman Begins/The Dark Knight- Not sure who did the music for these two movies. Just seems to fit with the tone of the movies. Good picks. Queen is ALWAYS good to me. Highlander. |

Nice. Almost forgot about Goblin & Tangerine Dream. And who could forget John Carpenter's infamous Halloween score (heard as ringtones everywhere in Oct haha). Yeah. He's awesome.

You're a B-Movie fanatic man. You're just a glutton for punishment.
My friend Jon is the same way. All these old 70's grindhouse/exploitation films 90% of which I have never heard of (and I consider myself pretty well educated in film...just not that genre obviously). I tried getting into it, but I just can't. I have the utmost respect for anyone who appreciates cinema that much though, regardless of the genre. My hat is off to you sir. |

You want proof, just take a look at the views compared to all of the other topics. And I bet most of those views are from women.

Kinda before my time, and I was never really a fan, but he played an important role in media, so I can respect him for that. And he made a lot of Grandfathers happy. And then there's all the jokes...

Haha. I bet this dude's message box is blowin up. Most chicks love married guys. no..filmfreak..the most girls doesn't include me.,somebody really hurt you that bad?.you seem to have lost your faith in the f gender.. Nope. Not hurt. Just a testimonial. I see it going on everywhere. Most chicks really do love married guys. They thrive off of the drama. That's how most women are. |

Kind of unusual behavior for her. She just started doing this a few months ago when I moved into my sister's house. She used to always sleep up on the bed with me. I've done some research and got a few explanations. Anxiety, being around other dogs that she's not used to, comfort (den), sick (but she's not sick...physically anyway).
Any thoughts or suggestions? |

I feel your pain bro. If you were as close to her as I am to mine, I can't even imagine the heartache you must be going through. I'm sure she lived a full & happy life with an awesome father.

The one with Ryan Gosling. And I know. That was what I was expecting, but you're right, it didn't have a whole lot of driving. Still enjoyed it though. Started out like "Gone in 60 Seconds" and ended up being kinda like "Taxi Driver".

The government will put "bath salts" in our water supply. It is coming. And I'm ready. Stock up at work, and head over to the Air Force base where my bro in law is in charge of the weapons armory supported by 10 foot thick steel walls. When **** gets real head to Navarre, FL & we'll see if we can't squeeze ya in. |

I really enjoyed "Drive" myself. Went into it blind, not really what I was expecting, but I was pleasantly surprised.

What are some of your favorites? Besides the typical John Williams & Danny Elfman ones?
I thought Bell & Hooper nailed it with the original TCM. One of the creepiest I've heard. Also love the music for the original Conan. Requiem For A Dream has some badass music also. I'm also really diggin the Fincher/Reznor collaboration. |

BTW. Lived about 2 hours away from Disney World for 5 yrs & never been. Never had the desire to. Disney is about as bad as Walmart as far as greedy, selfish, money hoarding corporations go. I love how they release the exact same version of a classic film every 10 yrs just so they can slap a "special anniversary edition" sticker on it, and jack up the price. And they know the masses are suckers for it so they take advantage. Thieves.
