This one would be a contender for "toughest" sport. Although...I really hope that it isn't considered a real "sport".

The set list is pretty nice. Although I would have liked to have seen some more older jams like....The Four Horsemen, Motorbreath, Jump In The Fire, Metal Militia, Ride The Lightning, The Call Of Cthulhu (I'm assuming these weren't added because Mustaine helped write them)...and a few songs from Garage Days...Helpless, Crash Course In Brain Surgery, and Green Hell.

All in all a pretty solid list though...consisting of mainly OLDER Metallica tunes, which is cool.

I found something. This link shows statistics related to drugs, criminal activity in juveniles.

It's very interesting. If you look at the numbers across the board. You will notice that the marijuana users have lower numbers than the rest of drugs (including alcohol and tobacco).

That is SO HORRIBLE!!! I don't care what any owner says about a tame upbringing.... it's in the nature of the beast. There are homeowner's policies that exclude coverage for certain types of dogs, like this, because of their nature.

It's still not right to blame the breed. I know of more vicious breeds than Pitbulls. See...it's frustrating how the media always focuses on stories like this. I was around Pitbulls throughout my childhood, never even came close to being attacked...but almost had my arm taken off by a Husky (still have the scars from it too).

And it was the grandmothers fault for leaving the child alone with the dog (the same reason I was attacked by the Husky...my mom left me alone with the dog). It doesn't matter what breed it is. She should have taken the kid in the kitchen with her.

This kind of stereotyping of breeds really needs to stop.yawn

*edit* - Andy brought up a good point. If the dog had a bad owner (again..it doesn't depend on which breed) the dog will be more likely to be aggressive.

IT IS THE OWNER NOT THE BREED!!!

I'm also curious as to how and who raised the dogs in this story.

Not a one. But I've been to Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Sequioa Natl Forest, Carlsbad, ...too many more to list (or remember). The US has plenty to see and I prefer natural to man-made. lol

I've been to most of those as well. And I also prefer natural to man made.

"Stoned politicians making important decisions for you? Our country?"

You mean the same ones that are smoking while enforcing laws against it? No. I definitely don't agree with that hypocrisy.

I have smoked with doctors, teachers, lawyers, cops, truck drivers, etc... Funny though....none of them smoked on the job. They only smoked moderately on their own time.

Would they change their smoking patterns if it were legal? Possible....but, highly unlikely.

That's like saying because alcohol is legal...then everyone one of those professions you mentioned will be drunk at work (which clearly isn't the case).

I liked him best in "In Living Color".

The only movies I liked him in were "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and "The Cable Guy".

I agree with Blaze. The Number 24 was absolutely atrocious. Easily one of the worst films in the last decade.

Great views!! Not sure I agree but food for thought.

Again, please anyone....

"I challenge anyone to go look for statistics regarding Criminal Activities commited under the influence of Marijuana. Not including activities being charged with possesion, smoking, growing, or dealing.... (If marijuana were legal would not be issue)

I would really like to see this. I looked and had a difficult time finding anything. "

Good luck with that KJ.laugh

Have you personally ever seen someone sit down, smoke a joint, and wanna go cause trouble. I certainly never have. And I've been around potheads most of my life. Where are all of these evil stoners that are sitting around smoking and afterwards coming up with ideas to deliberately break the law. I would really like to know. I can find loads of statistics for people robbing, stealing, fighting, etc...under the influence of alcohol, cocaine, heroin, PCP, etc...

99.9% of marijuana users I know are very peaceful when high. They don't even THINK about committing any crimes. It's too much effort. It's easier to just sit on the couch and watch cartoons.laugh

Seriously though...look at police reports for domestic disturbances. How many of them are alcohol related compared to marijuana related? Like I said in an earlier post. You have a guy sitting in his living room minding his own business tokin a doobie, while the drunk next door is beating his wife and kids. Guess which guy is being arrested first. Yep...the dude that isn't hurting anyone, minding his own business, in the privacy of his own home. Sad.frown

And, as far as the weed smoke on the lungs being an issue. They have many other ways to get high other than smoking. The most popular being cooked or baked in foods, and a vaporizer machine which eliminates all of the harmful tars and chemicals from the smoke.

I liked Daniel Craig in Casino Royale, then I got all pumped for Quantum of Solace and I was extremely disappointed.

I think he has potential, and it wasn't his fault as much as the screenplay, editor, director, etc...

I'm sure the next one will be better. It can't get much worse.

I like how the character has changed a little. One can only take so many cheesy one liners before they start wearing thin. And Craig still has them...he's just more subtle about them.

I like Moore and Connery. I just love 007 films period.

Is there a DVD on it? I'm sure there are a few. Can you recommend me one Mirror?

I'm already in the middle of 2 books and they are due back soon. Also not into reading non-fiction. I'd rather watch a documentary.

Thanks.

flowerforyou There are tons of shows on History channel and National Geographic channel about evolution but like I said, if you ever want to actually see what Darwin wrote in a quick and easy way then just read chapter XIV in "Origin of Species" and chapter XXI of "The Descent of Man". Both of them are about 5 pages and together are less than 10 pages.happyIts actually rather dry and boring but when a person actually sees it with their own eyes they will realize that Charles Darwin was merely making a rational scientific observation.bigsmile

Ohhhh...10 pages???

laugh

Nevermind. I thought it was a whole book. Cool, thanks. I'll check out the section/chapter you're referring to.

Ok. My bad. I edited it to "most" instead of "all".

There are some rare cases where weed caused someone to get into harder drugs and mess up their life...but it mainly starts with the "legal" gateway drugs (tobacco and alcohol).

Maybe you need to change it to "alot".

If it's so rare, why are the NA rooms so full these days?

Ok...next time you're in a NA meeting ask 5 different people what was the first drug they ever tried. Remind them first that TOBACCO and ALCOHOL are also drugs...("legal" drugs, but still very addictive and deadly). If they say tobacco and or alcohol caused them to start smoking pot or whatever harder drugs...then there ya go.

I was a HUGE pothead in high school, and one of the reasons I tried it was because I was experimenting with cigarettes and alcohol. Most of the people I was in rehab with said the exact same thing.

I show stuff like this to the people that think I'm "weird" because I enjoy horror movies.

Real life is often even more disturbing.
