Carold .... how is your foot? I had 2 hip surgeries in 11 months so I know about the "tied down" feeling.

I am so glad that Latte is OK. I think carrying a stick is a good idea.

That's a tough one. My new favorite quotation is -- When God closes a door he opens another one. But there's hell in the hallway. So hang in there until the other door opens.

You could go to the library and check out some books, organize your pictures, work on your family history, learn to crochet or knit. Of course, this is my third day of being iced in. I have all kinds of things I could be doing, but don't want to do any of them!!! But I think I'm gonna have to iron.

Hi Greer --- I also like to crochet although I haven't made anything for quite a while. What have you made lately?

My biggest hobby is genealogy. I've done most of my family so now I like to help my friends get started. I'm also a collector --- of many things.

I think a person can definitely love more than one person (at different times). I have 2 exes and was in love with both at one time. I also think it is easier to live with someone you like rather than someone you love (but don't really like --- #1)!!

Will love come again? I'm beginning to doubt (I know be patient!)

I go to bed between 10-12 and get up 7-8 am. I do need 8 hours. To me one of the perks of being retired is getting up when I feel like it. I am not an early morning person!!!

everybody is different, butt for me 50 miles is about as long distance as I will try to do. If I like someone I want to spend time with them, not just an occasional weekend or so.

I would say beyond a 3-4 hour drive is too far. I had sort of a "long distance phone relationship" (800 miles) He eventually found someone closer which is always a possibility.

If you haven't heard for a few days, would you call a girlfriend? That's my test.

Carold .... that does sound like a good time. It's just me, my daughter, my granddaughter and my son when he gets here. And we have to share my granddaughter with her dad and other grandparents. I'm just feeling down right now.

My granddaughter may come over and open her presents a little later this evening.

And I'm sorry about your trip. I've always believed that things happen for a reason, but sometimes it's really hard to see the reason.

Yes, I am anxious to visit with me. I haven't seen him for 1-1/2 years. And I hate to think about him sleeping in an airport on Christmas Eve.
