A senior Iranian naval commander says his country has sent several warships to the Atlantic Ocean, close to U.S. maritime borders for the first time. The commander of Iran's Northern Navy Fleet, Admiral Afshin Rezayee Haddad, is quoted by the official IRNA news agency as saying Saturday that the vessels have already begun the journey to the Atlantic Ocean via waters near South Africa. "Iran's military fleet is approaching the United States' maritime borders, and this move has a message," Haddad reportedly said, according to Fars, a semi-official Iranian news agency. Iranian officials said last month that the fleet consisted of the destroyer Sabalan and the logistic helicopter carrier Khark, which will be on a three-month mission. The ships are carrying some 30 navy academy cadets for training along with their regular crews. Haddad says the fleet is approaching U.S. maritime borders for the first time. The Islamic Republic considers the move as a response to U.S. naval deployments near its own coastlines. The U.S. Navy's 5th fleet is based in nearby Bahrain -- across the gulf from Iran. Iran has regularly deployed warships to the Gulf of Aden off the eastern coast of Africa to fight privacy and protect commercial ships. It has also sent its warships to Syrian waters in recent years. I was a single father, my son is grown up now though and left home. When it came to dating women with kids though, I saw such double standards with some women, that it was enough to make me think twice before I would ever do so again. I'm not saying all single mums are like that, but once bitten twice shy. Some would expect me to drop everything for them and their kids and forget my own in the process? No way was that happening! Some others would just try and use me for my money, as i've always earned good wages, but I wasn't going to be a glorified cash machine for anyone, except my own kid. As I said, I know that not all women are like that, but then again, some are! At the end of the day, my kid came first, just like most of those womens kids did. That's understandable, but I would rather date a woman with no kids. That way if we do have kids, it will be my own that i'll be raising!

Why do they call it ' World series Baseball? ' when it's only played in North America? I only ask because my sport football ( soccer ) has the World Cup, which nations play in qualifying groups around the World, to qualify for the last 32 teams, to actually play in the tournament. The World Cup, is held every 4 years. The winner of the tournament are then World champs. Spain, won the last one in 2010. So i'm asking a valid question, as why you call it the ' World series? ' when obviously it's really the North American series?
