Beautiful ladies over 50

Howdy:
I am 62 living in Fort Worth, TX. M2 sends me ridiculous matches with 20 to 30 year olds. Is there a fix, or do I just need to terminate and find another website? Any advice would be appreciated. ~ Alan |

Appreciate your taking the time to reply. Primitive tool... at least I understand what it does and does not do now. Thank you. ~ Alan |

Howdy, soufiehere:
- I (man) have chosen YES or MAYBE for *THEM* in Mutual Match - They (women) have chosen YES or MAYBE for *ME* in Mutual Match If the above is correct, then I would have no idea WHO initiated the HEART... which would be quite USELESS. Correct? Thx much. ~ Alan I will quote Charles here: "The filled-in heart means that you have chosen yes or maybe for them in Mutual Match or that they have chosen yes or maybe for you. The empty one means that you or the other person chose no or haven't rated each other yet." |

Howdy. When I go to http://mingle2.com/search to SEARCH... many of the results display a RED HEART.
What does this mean? What are my options? Thx. ~ Alan |

Howdy, M2 Members:
For whatever it's worth: 99% OF WOMEN CONTACTING ME are without a clue who I am... they have NOT yet reviewed my profile. THE GOOD NEWS IS... they have PRE-QUALIFIED themselves. DONE DEAL. ;) PREVALENT ISSUE: Because this is such a PREVALENT issue from my experience... I have posted the following at the TOP of my profile just on principle: ************************** Enjoy Intelligent, Adventurous, Resourceful Women *** HOWDY, LADIES... YOU BEST READ MY PROFILE BEFORE CONTACTING ME. *** ***WANT MY ATTENTION?*** MESSAGE me something **intelligent** ... **imaginative** ... and **enchanting**. I am an 62, educated, mature, alpha male... I will be glad to reciprocate. ;) *** I NO LONGER RESPOND TO MEET-ME's & FAV's. *** ************************** People do what they do. I personally don't contact anyone until I have fully reviewed their profile and photos. Attracting a keeper takes patience... effort... and multiple dating sites! (LOL!) (e.g. I am also on POF.) I hope some find this helpful. ~ Alan |

Hello SAEgirl10:
May I suggest that you share more about WHO you are... WHAT is important to you... your values... and WHAT makes you attractive to the right kind of man. Obviously, no one is right for everyone... so we all need to give it time. In the meantime, since I am Christian, I would recommend that you get closer to your Lord... be of service and think about others who may be worse off than you... and you'll start feeling a whole lot better about yourself... AND you will attract that kind of man... one with a good heart. It may sound simplistic... but it does bring blessings eventually. Take care, Alan :) |

Hello Winx:
I do most of my Google research using their advanced feature, which you can find at: http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en Also, another excellent search engine I have found... actually a meta search engine, meaning it utilizes multiple SE's simultaneously is: http://clusty.com/search?&form=advanced&v%3aframe=form& ... again the advance page. It will find things Google does not... and it organizes it in a tree on the left side by topics. Hope this proves helpful, sooner than later! Alan :) |

Browsers - What do you use?
|
|
Hello tnkitty:
I still use FF3... and only IE when a website write proprietary MS HTML code that FF3 does not yet render. :) I also use Mozilla Thunderbird, but because of the many bugs and instability that I have found, I have gone to the portable version available at http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/thunderbird_portable... because the entire application is in (1) folder... I can copy it as a backup to another location... and secure 100% reliability in under 30 secs. :) Hope this helps! Alan |
