Topic: Deinstallation of programmes

I want to deinstall certain programmes from my computer. (ie iTunes) I get a messages saying that the system administrator has blocked the deinstallation. slaphead

If it's my computer and I am the only person who uses the computer, How can I rectify this?

Create a new administrator account through your user account management. In your control panel there should be an icon for User Accounts or something along those lines. Not quite sure why your account isn't showing up as an admin account, could be the registry is messed up a bit (happens when you install a number of programs and don't clean up the registry regularly).
