I do not think the day of the week is the point of Sabbath, honestly I just feel we are to work six days and work the seventh during biblical times their culture worked six days and rested on the seventh, it is the pattern that makes it Sabbath, not the name of the day in our times, our general first day of work is monday, making our seventh day Sunday but even if one worked, tuesday through sunday and rested monday, they would be living by the commandment to rest on the seventh day I doubt God is hung up on mans calendar, or the names of our days ... ********************************************* No doubt. That can work too, as long as we rest for one day. 
On the 7th day, whatever day may be for some. The purpose of it is deeper and should clear many doubts, and/or help heal the minds, especially humans, of stress as example. 
For some, REST can heal bodies, souls or minds
But look at it from a different view. No 7 has also a deeper multiple meaning from god's point of desire for humans & purpose. Take Agricultural for example. Good farming land is the one who is cultivated for 6 years, and given a rest for one year. That makes 7 years. Peace. |

I think my answer is "sort of, sometimes." What is Trust, really? I think it's more than one thing, complicated. In a lot of situations, what feels like 'trust,' is mostly 'expectations.' Complicated. ******************************************* Yes, TRUST can be complicated to define. Many times I think and try to compare " TRUST ", with " Having FAITH " or even " BELIEVING Again "?? I could be wrong, but who is right these days?? |

Hi to all the friends here. Now how much do we know about this are we obedient to the command of God or are we following the command of men? Which is the true day of Godly worship? Jews, Muslim's, worship God on sabbad, Catholic's and the rest, worship on Sunday. There can only be one day for worship. According to the bible.set a side by God.?

( Mind also the fact that timing is different wherever we may live ) And we, all God's children SHOULD obey and follow god's commandment/s by keeping the SABBATH. Regardless of being a Christian, Muslim, or Jew, so on and on.

Not that I cook Camel pies or skinless lizard stew lately, but I have in the past
Seriously now, Last I cooked some pork brawn I burned the pot, I FORGOT it was on too long. 
the whole house was stinking like pigs stall
That's where I admit, that as I age, my brains are sinking with it also. 
Yuck, that's not good, better just order it from now on
I did that with my pizza a call weeks ago

I thought ham hocks sounded gross too, but they make really tasty soup.

Ham hooks are great with dry white Cannellini beans. I also use them to make homemade pork brawn.

Think I can score some chins lots of farms around here. Thanks for recipe pep. Not just me you too P. I know one thing that didn't help for the last 8. Your meats frozen mostly? Ya see the chin bone marrow is it. Like marrow soup.

Oh folks, I FORGOT TO SAY to take out the Whole bone, Meat, Onion, Parsnip, and Swedes....Use the meat boiled on his own yummmm. If you leave all ingredients there no problem you will end-up with BONE BROTH & VEGIES SOUP
Okay, so you serve the meat separate on the dish and serve the dumpling soup in a separate dish? ********************************* Boiled Meat is your to enjoy not the guests
Best part and sprinkle some salt on it
If you want to go further for a royal poor man's treat you get the marrow out of the bone, sprinkle salt and enjoy
