Sadly, I grew up in Idaho and here in Spokane. I thought black people were only on TV when I was a kid before I moved to Spokane. I found out as a teenager that my beloved town had run the ONLY doctor out because he was black.
Every memory I have of Genesee is now tainted by that knowledge. I haven't had much exposure, except my Jewish friend Josie. The stories she tells are awesome! |

Ty? Who? Oh Lord Jess. Ty Pennington the hot, gay, construction lead on Extreme Home Makeover. Krupa has a man crush on him. Oh... I should have figured he was a celebrity. |

Are these women wearing high heels? The buttocks are large muscles...and when used to hold oneself upright, whilst teetering on elevated shoes...they feel the strain. There's only so much poor old calves can manage, before the big guns kck in... That explains why I never rub my butt... |

Hi Pacificstar! Damn... you hit one nail MAJORLY on the head for me, too. Being a single parent isn't easy, but look:
THAT is my whole world. My life. THAT is why I do everything I do. How I parented was never good enough for the ladies of my old church, because it wasn't how they did it. So I beat myself up for YEARS. Then I took a step back and realized that most of that was complete BS, and I was a GOOD mommy. Then I took a look at the things I DID need to change, and asked their father to take them for a year. It's been so hard, and it's only been a little over a month, but I'm building a better mommy for them. Not from anyone else's opinion, but from mine... and theirs. And that's all that matters. |

I just don't get it. Crime happens, yes. It's happened for the course of human history. The only reason we know more about it now is because the media can cover it better.
Ugh. Headache. Seriously, it's one thing to want to feel safe and secure, but quite another to have to take a gun EVERYWHERE. That's so sad and paranoid and caged to me. To me, if he were carrying a gun, I'd made DAMN sure I stayed in public with him. The entire time. |
