Breathe? For you Lex! Thank you! Now let's see if someone tries to hold his breath long enough to make this a fallacy! {Trust me, it's not as unlikely as it may seem....} |

Cute face. Curvy body with large natural breasts. Great sense of humor. Sweet demeanor. Blue/green eyes. A smile to make any man melt. I like larger women so that might put me in the minority here. Never been into the skinny women even though I've dated a few. Something about those short, curvy girls gets my engine roaring. 5 out of 6 Who's got the popcorn? |

Your feelings are normal.
It was not your fault that she was in accident, but you are a compassionate human being so you feel responsible. |

A word of caution: I had the same thing happen to me and I went for it. Found out later that he has a live in girlfriend.

I think we've all tried on a few of those lifestyles over time. Currently, since I'm unemployed but own 2 cars and live in a nice apartment by myself, I have to call myself spoiled. When I am working I think I'm settling very nicely into that geek category.

Sundown Towns

I'm gonna back-up Buttons and say that the Seattle I've always known is all about diversity (I've only been to Federal Way for Wild Waves), but it sounds like this was prevailant before I was old enough to be aware of it.
My home town did not make the list, but it is very small. I wouldn't doubt that it was a sundown town in the past; there are still very few people who are not white who live there. |

WHO is still Active from WA?

Been active for over two years now, actually since the month after they started this site. One of the official "old timers." I live in Port Townsend, a small but nice town in the northwest corner of the state. If you go any farther north, you will be in the drink and have to swim across to Whidbey Island or turn left and swim to Canada. I love Port Townsend, haven't been there in years. |

Talk to your doctor, the chances of a successful surgery are dependent on things like the size of your tonsils and the way your toungue sits in your throat. An ENT doctor will be able to figure this out for you.

Yeah...MBA in HR. HOWEVER...I'm currently 'enjoying' sneaky, underhanded, insidious retalitation from a 'good old boys' network after rejecting an inappropriate advance from one of their members earlier in the year. Sometimes the law is tricky...although in the case you mentioned, not so. People really DO need to review the law, though! Protect yourself! AND DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT!!! THAT is the only way you can prove anything/make a case... In that case. . . I know, but do you know long a company has to respond to a complaint once it's been filed? I received my invitation to mediate before Christmas, but as far as I can tell, the company hasn't responded yet. I contacted the EEOC last week and they assured me that, with the holidays and weather, everything is on schedule. I'm affraid the company is stalling on purpose, they've been known to pull some very stupid tricks and I really don't want this dragging on any longer than it has to, it's bad enough that I lost my job because of it. So unfair! Yeah...they can drag for quite a while and it's so STUPID because if you get a halfway decent hearing examiner, they are gonna look very bad. I wish it were better...the law only goes so far. I wouldn't care so much if the economy was in better shape and I stood a chance of getting back to work any time soon, but Unemployment doesn't cover everything (which I had to fight for) and Savings will only last so long. |

I'm in a top floor corner unit so I don't have to worry about it too much but this neighborhood is pretty quiet anyway.
I'm still thinking of buying something when my lease is up in July. |

I will also add my brother's farts. A combination of a diesel pulp truck running over a skunk that has just dined on cabbage, while driving past the sulpher factory, cheese factory, and sewage plant. On a hot and humid day. My brother's are pretty bad too. He'd be driving down the road and start to laugh while rolling up all of the windows. By then it was already too late... |
