Butterflies with paper wings
dancing as dawn chorus sings
gentle on the breeze she flys
under deepest morning skys
catch a rainbow by a stream
just before you wish your dream
mass the colour on your fingertips
paint the the magic with your lips
sing of forests in full bloom
of mountains under crescent moon
hearts and souls that beat as one
nightfalls to a sea kissed sun
lament your songs from deep within
let this moment keep us in
sheild us from the was before
in your world pain will be no more

Shades of heaven in emerald eyes flow
two hearts drawing love from the same well
Let me drink with you forever my love
the deeper the sweeter the nectre on our lips
Walking barefoot through our minds eye
a deep yearning pulling at our souls
To hold each other from now till a times end
then to find you and walk in heaven together
You were sent like a summer dream to me
and your waterfall caressed me like the rain
Your soft embrace bought my very existance
together the future is ours to paint
All the colours of the spectrum in our hands
ready for us my love to spend in beautiful canvas
Dare with me and walk this path as i and true
eternity shall be our reward basking in our Edan

Its a great way to express our feelings , all the things we really feel in the guise of poetry . The way we look at love and life myself im kinda lost at the moment so i find peace in my words and escape for a short while .

What do i want? a magic cure to ease my aching heart would be nice :)

Love can break you as well as make you , its a leap of faith and the strength it gives you can move mountains . The fall leaves us lost and in pain like no other , in life be careful what you wish for and if it finds you cherish each moment as though it was your last .

Afar ago an Angel fir strung a golden harp to play
with fingers gentle as she tied to serenade the day
strings of golden paradise threaded to the framing
beyond resist as ears it kissed wild animals to taming
penitent this humble self found the day to open smile
my eyes remained to darkness i lay there just a while
were did this feast to woken ear enticing me to rise
deliver from to find my soul and wakening of eyes
my guardian you play to me and eased me in my sleep
ambrosia to the starving heart resisting hard to weep
Angelic in a tender smile with flowers to adorn her hair
tried to make my words for you yet silent to your stir
i dreamed to moments gone before to the girl so far away
each night i tasted memories then lost with each new day
forty years i waited long amid regrets you didn't stay
but all you were is to my heart the happy price i pay
sudden to a silence heavens gate now lays before thee
looking deep i gently weep at the Angel now a fore me
was the love i tasted in my days to a kiss i hold you near
as i enter through the golden way i do so with no fear
those forty years my soul was lost you were taken far away
now eternally ill taste your love with each new passing day

i hid there for years , why ? im surprised you ask
this solitude were my imagination had lead me too
designed to keep me from falling in love with you
it never worked and the fall gave me so much hope
now the darkness holds me and im struggling to cope
dont turn out the light its all i have left of our day
your slipping through my fingers slowly draining away
im afraid to open my eyes because if i do i know your gone
if i keep them closed the dream will continue to go on
the truth is it was i who sent you away from here
how i wish the fool inside me wasnt so full of fear
im holding out my hand please someone take it
my heart is so fractured i beg you dont break it
show my world compassion and hold me tonight
pull me close to your heart and cherish me tight

Tripping down the highway
a broken heart for company
looking out ways to breath
and a place called sanctuary

gonna wind all the windows up
play the music nice and loud
no time to wipe the windscreen
when your running from the crowd

broke off the rear view mirrors
aint no future looking back
when your past is like the roads
warning signs and painted black

when your only looking forward
chasing sunsets cross the coast
your eyes are focused on horizons
and the one you loved the most

when i finally reach the morning
will all the pain i feel inside
be left along this lonely highway
because its empty by my side

i slip the keys in to my pocket
close the doors and start to walk
its time to face what lays before me
time to mend the thing you broke
