I walked away from my best friend after discovering she was a compulsive liar... everything she told me was a lie; the way her father died, the amount of money she made so much more... at first it was petty things but then it became much more serious. It was so hard for me to let her go, but she wouldn't tell the truth to save her friendships or in the end her marriage as well.

My biggest insecurity is my weight as well... so i know how you feel. I am scared to meet this guy I've been talking to because I think he probably expects me to have a perfect body or something... but at the end of the day you have to be happy with yourself and not try to live up to others expectations. I am going to meet him and if he doesn't like it... too bad. I can lose weight, but I won't do it for someone else!

I, personally, would not go to a friends b'day party or any other place where you were on "uneven" ground. To me, I'd feel at a real disadvantage being somewhere where he knew everyone and I knew no one! I will not be going to a house full of people I don't know... that feels like a 5th date or something not a 1st |
