I get that sometimes from non-posters. According to some, if you got too many friends on mingle, you are some sort of a "player", or there is something wrong with you. What do you think? I think it’s none of their business. I don’t even have mine showing in my profile. My friends are MY friends. If I decide to become involved with someone, of course they would want to know who I associate with. Until then, you don’t need to know. |

How do I look up a phone number that keeps calling me? I dont know if it is a bill collector or not...but I want to know. If they would say who they are I would answer it. Can anyone help me find who it is? Kat There are phonebook pages that will tell you who it is if it's a land phone. There are other websites that will tell you if it's a cell phone or a telemarketer/collector but those usually will only tell you the city and state of the cell phone owner or company name for the telemarketer/collector. Any further information is usually around $5. If you pay, the information they provide is very detailed. Type "reverse lookup" in a search engine and take your pick of the sites that offer this service. |

Thank you all for your help. I am not insane....LOL Why cant we call out the names or ID's of the people we find are game players or hiding that they are married? There ARE websites that list real names and/or online names used by jerks. Unfortunately, not enough people know about them and use them. I have actually ran across the names 3 people on those sites that I almost got involved with. Glad I checked them first! Just read your profile, that is great! OMG!!! I wrote my heart out describing myself in my first profile and it seemed no one paid attention to what I actually wrote (lots of replies that made it obvious they didn't actually read it) and now that I've changed it to a smarta*# one, I keep getting told it's great. Too funny!

I write the same as I talk. I actually say the words as I type them. As for if anyone reads what I write... obviously they sometimes do. The only time it appears they don't is when I write in my profile. Must be like invisible ink, but somehow online...

Glad I'm not the only one who counts back from people's birthdays! Guess what my parents were doing Valentine's 1968? Making me!
Unfortunately, no. My mother didn't want anymore children after my sister. But hey... here I am anyway!

You meet someone online, you nudge back and forth, you email back and forth. Spend hours and hours on line chatting. Both seems to be what each other are looking for. Then disappear for a couple days, pulling double duty (without stating his job, I do know this is plausible, that and last min. trips.) Phone calls back again apologizes, picked right back up, No prob. More plans to make plans to meet. Disappear again for 2 days. Sent email stating asking if he was still interested in meeting to call if not no worries and good luck with your search. Emailed back explaining a last min trip and will be back Thursday really wants to take you to dinner, spend time together over the 4th, lets make plans. Still very interested(More plans to make plans). Great you would think to your self, stop worrying about it. Another day and half go by and you see him online but no email IM or anything. His daughters did have him sign up and could have been logged on but I think that is just reaching for an explaination. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Being strung along or not? I think so....or am I just being impatient? ------------------------------------------------------------------- I hate games, and I feel like I am in the middle of one. Your thoughts? ****if it is not constructive comments to assist then keep them to your self please, I am just looking for a little advise from people who have been here awhile****** I don't know if you're being strung along or if he's just really too busy for more than an occassional friend. Possibilities: 1) He's involved elsewhere and can only talk to you when she's not around. Are you willing to be on the sideline of another woman/man? 2) He's just too busy and even IF you meet and things evolve, he'll probably still be too busy. Are you willing to be on the sideline of everything else? You have to decide. |

An ex once cleaned my house while I was at work and had dinner ready when I came home. Afterwards, he sat beside me while watching “Bridgette Jones’s Diary” without trying to interrupt the movie to “get frisky”… not easy for a man to sit through any movie without doing that, especially a chick flick.

Yep. I don’t know which was nicer… him cleaning the house after me and 3 kids or him sitting through a chick flick and behaving. |
