oh you shut up what do you have down syndrome or something acting like the US is the only problem in the whole world and no one in the US is kind and accepts kind things that it's only apparent over seas you must be kidding me. You just proved his point, as people like you are probably why he has such a dim view of this country. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, why are you so upset? And I pray you never have a child that suffers from Down's Syndrome. That statement was totally inappropriate and uncalled for. You should be ashamed of yourself young man. Be thankful you live in the US to be able to express those opinions freely. how did i prove his point. He's trying to say that the US is a ****hole for kindness when really it isn't. I can be as mean as a want about it but that doesn't mean that I'm not a kind person. What he said pissed me off to no extent. Oh and about the me having no children..my sister has it. Not wanting to start a fight here but you are typical of what I was talking about. Instead of trying to reason your point of view, with intelligent and informed information. You immediately resorted to using insults and a clear display that you had nothing positive to contribute to this discussion; Instead you preferred to jump in with both feet and make a complete fool of yourself, demonstrating how small minded you are. I will apologize on your behalf to anyone who's lives are affected by Downs Syndrome, be it directly or indirectly. Also your poor attempt at trying to sell us the idea that you're a kind person has failed miserably, using examples of society who are less fortunate with their health than say you or I, was a very sad thing to do and it shows complete arrogance and a lack of understanding and education on your part. Your "Gung Ho" attitude towards an intelligent debate was a waste of bandwidth. |

Sorry if I offened anyone, but having lived in New jersey for the past 8 years I have witnessed a lot of rudeness and ignorance. When I lived in England and while travelling across Europe I never experienced such behaviour.
My intention was not to put down America, quite the opposite, I love this country and the people who live here but I was just expressing my opinion based on my experiences since living here. |

I'm sorry to have to say this but what you speak of here is only the case in the United States of America. If you go to Europe and in particular England, you'll see that folk are still decent to each other on a regular basis.
Unfortunately it has become cut throat here in the USA, all anyone cares about anymore is the next dollar and how quickly they can get their hands on it and who do they have to step on in order to get it. I admire your charity and truly wish their were more people like you around, well done very nice gesture. |

Do you hate Truck Drivers?
|
|
Working as a truck driver, travelling across America, I see and hear a lot of negative things, especially about truckers. I just want to say that America runs on 18 wheels, everything you buy on the shelves in stores, the gas you put in your car/SUV and the food you eat is all delivered by a truck driver. I know there are some idiot truck drivers out there, but believe me there are a greater number of idiot Car/SUV drivers out there too.
People need to understand that pulling in front of an 18 wheeler, which is effectively and 80,000 pound battering ram is very dangerous and very stupid, we cannot stop those things on a dime. Also I know that truckers are sometimes viewed as dirty, smelly individuals... Not true, believe me. My truck and I have the highest standards of hygeine and I would be proud for anyone to look inside of mine and see for themselves. So my questions is what do you think of truckers in general? |

Okay, well as you can see I have been "blessed" with Grey hair. Now my
question is this; Should it stay or should it go? If you look at my profile you will see my original color Dark Brown, and of course how I look today... Grey. I would truly appreciate some honest feedback from everyone (prefferably the ladies) and I thank you in advance. I must end by saying that I believe I should stay with Grey if only in the name of honesty as that is what I am... Grey. So for some interesting views let's debate... Thanks |

Hello Butter1,
Firstly let me point out that I am not an expert in these matters but you have asked for advice. The first thing you need to do is change your social habits; For example start going to different Restaurants, Clubs, Bars etc. etc. This will inhibit you from constantly meeting with the same "Thug/Loser" crowd you've experienced in the past. Secondly, I would suggest that you set your sights a lot higher and carry out some due dilligence on any potential suitor. As I am not local to you I cannot suggest where to go for a night out where you're less likely to meet the "Thug/Loser" types but this really should be common sense. Also I would suggest if you can afford it using a professional dating agency, one that carries out background checks on your behalf. Above all else, always remember that you can say "No" to anyone you are not suited to and follow your gut feelings... Take care. |

Big girls: good or bad?

Big is okay if that is what you're into, I personally am not at all into
chubbies but that is just my personal taste. There are some very beautiful big women in this world. The one thing I hate the most is the fat slobs both men and women who walk around with their vagumachs hanging out displaying all kinds of nasty stretch marks and pimples YUKKK! Please is you're big, buy clothes that actually fit you and not try to dress like your thin... Thanks for listening. |

What do you drive and why?
|
|
They sa you can tell alot about a person from the vehicle they choose to
drive. So my question is this; "What do you drive and why"? Personally I own a 2006 Subaru Forrester, I chose this vehicle for it's safety features and of the course the famous 'All Wheel Drive', it also has very good performance for a 4 cylinder and has been in the top ratings for years. I also own a 2006 Harley Davidson Road King FLHRI, I have owned several bikes and this particular bike does it all; Looks, sounds and feels great and it also gives you a sense of belonging to the biggest bike culture in history. So what do you drive... |

Listen up Lunatic, It's a shame that you have no sense of belonging.
Before we go to deep, I just want you to understand that my country does not suck but that's just my opinion. As for flying a British flag while residing in the States, I see no harm in it whatsoever, especially as Britain is Americas biggest and best supporter when it comes to going into war. I sincerely hope for your sake that your dreams come true and that you are able to retire to a foreign land and enjoy a better lifestyle. One more thing, the reason I am now living in this country is because I was engaged as a design engineer for an engineering company in Phoenix, Arizona, who apparantly were unable to find someone satisfactory locally and I have been here ever since. So as you can see my being here has nothing to do with being dissatisfied woth my home country at all, I was invited to stay and accepted the offer. One more thing, this country is based upon "Freedom of speech" and my flag flying is a freedom that I exercise and therefore don't believe that you should be saying anything negative about it. |

Hey Fanta,
I choose to "Fly the flag" simply because I am proud of my heritage. I am now living in the USA as "Permanent Resident" as I chose not to take the "Citizens test" where you have to renounce your nationality, I am British and no amount of paperwork is going to change that. As for you winning any war, I think you should study your history a bit further as the reality is that is was the British that had moved here, who fought against the British that still lived over there (The Loyalists). So before you start a discussion on that subject, you should be more familiar with the actual facts and not popular uninformed myth. Remember the first President of this country was a British Soldier - George Washington |

My take on this is to giver her some space, do not crowd her at this
time. She is clearly having second thoughts about her husband and in all honesty that's a good thing. There are far too many divorces taking place in this day and age, remember a marriage is not dirty laundry, something to discard when there is a problem. Marriage is a partnership and both members of the relationship have to try each and every day to keep it fresh and alive, not just move on because the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence... I am sure you could find someone less complicated... |

Hey Michael,
