i love when guys like Tancredo, Hannity, O'Reilly state they want to go back to the America they grew up in..and claim not to be racist for that time period was when there were seperate bathrooms and water fountains.

once again son...you missed the point...when Conservatives talk about returning to the 50's for instance [ ohhhhhhhh for the 50's was a common refrain of mine in my early Mingle days ]...we're indicating that there was less Liberalism...less government regulation...less debt...NO political correctness...less crime...wonderful childhood memories...summer vacations...little league baseball...how you can go back to the good old days and only come up with seperate bathrooms and water fountains...well...I leave it at that...

Mistakes….like 4.+ unemployment?

yep...I remember those days well...under employment...when there weren't enough people to fill ALL the jobs available...the day Obama was elected...the unemployment rate was 6%...how GW Bush got it up to 10% is beyond me...in GW Bush's last year...the budget deficit was 454.8 billion...now we're running 1.35 trillion dollar deficits...how GW Bush more then tripled the budget deficit is beyond me...

Unemployment rate was predicted to go as high as 10 percent the last year that Bush was in office.

All that they have predicted has come to be with the exception of the depression so Obama did what he was suppose to do by stopping the depression at all cost.

The economists said to worry about the deficit would make us drop into depression for sure. The system needed to be flooded with money to stop the depression.

We are not in depression so it worked.

when Bush left office the unemployment rate was 6%...and I hate to burst your Obama bubble...but we are in a depression...and his approvals are in the low 40's...

Bush tax cuts haven't expired yet..so your number 2 is either a blatant lie or miss information.

son I don't lie...I just happen to know what I'm talking about...in 2001 when bush took over...he couldn't get permenant tax cuts implemented because of the Dems...so he agreed to a 10 year tax cut plan...top rate went from 39 1/2% to 36%...the middle rate went from 28% to 25%...the bottom from 18% to 15%...those rates will expire at the end of this fiscal year { October }...and we will return to the old rates...which will stifle any economic growth...

it's his fault because:

#1: His daily anti-business rhetoric...his constant attacks on Wall St...and...big business...
#2: Allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire...means less working capital...hence...layoffs...
#3: His healthcare monstrosity would mandate that business's insure ALL workers and if the don't...they are taxed / fined at 8 1/2 per employee...so...if you own a business and you need to make up this shortfall...layoffs...
#4: His cap and trade bill would cost business billions of dollars to either retool to meet stricter EPA standards or face massive fines...so to make up for the shortfall...layoffs...
#5: his tax policy to raise taxes on people that make more then $200,000 a year...those are small business's that you're hitting...with less working capital...layoffs...

ummmm...does that help you out a bit...see when you own a business...and the government confiscates your income through higher taxes...you either pass that on to the comsumer in higher prices...or...to keep the bottom line in check...you lay people off...

None of us want the copy and paste crap from racist Rush.

This list in not correct anyway.

that list are my words...not the Mobfathers...oh !...thanks for the compliment...

here's a quote or two from the MobFathers show...

"I just learned this. George W. Bush has been in the White House teaching President Obama to pronounce words."

"When he says he's going to focus on jobs, it doesn't mean he's focusing on jobs. It means he's going to mention it. 'Focus' simply means 'mention' to Obama, because he's obviously not focused."

Who is a left winger?

Just because a person doesn't find Fox News Network a real news station doesn't make them a lefty, nor disliking a Rush or Palin makes anyone a lefty.

I know independents who are not left who don't like all of the above and I am one of them. Actually I am unaffiliated.

sure you are...laugh

the man is effective. otherwise no one would care what he says. Fox news is effective.. otherwise no one would care what shows they produce.

liberals can't compete.. so they whine and complain..

it's really getting rather pathetic, to be honest..

Oh.. and by the way..

In 1964, the United States Supreme Court heard the case of The New York Times v. Sullivan, and the law of defamation changed drastically. For the first time, the Supreme Court recognized that the First Amendment, which protects an individual's freedom of speech and expression, protects even speech and expression that is defamatory. In Sullivan, the plaintiff was a public official who sued The New York Times for libel after the newspaper published certain unfavorable allegations about him. The Supreme Court discussed the First Amendment to the Constitution, which states in part that "Congress shall pass no law abridging freedom of speech or of the press." The First Amendment exists, according to the Court, to help protect and foster the free flow and exchange of ideas, particularly on public or political issues. The Founding Fathers of the United States valued open debates regarding political issues or governments, determining that citizens in a democracy need a free marketplace of ideas in order to become informed and make good decisions. Open debates often become caustic and emotional, with opponents sharply attacking one another in the effort to persuade others. Sanctioning defamatory speech or expression would put an end to such attacks, but sanctions would also jeopardize the free marketplace of ideas by effectively censoring free and open debate.

There is no whining about Rush and Fox. They are not what they portray themselves to be, valid.

That is a problem.

Limbaugh is a sick individual.

Sadly some people do not realize that.

Fox is not a news station and some people think it is that is sad too.

Fox is the most trusted television news network in the country, according to a new poll out Tuesday.

A Public Policy Polling nationwide survey of 1,151 registered voters Jan. 18-19 found that 49 percent of Americans trusted Fox News, 10 percentage points more than any other network.

Thirty-seven percent said they didn’t trust Fox, also the lowest level of distrust that any of the networks recorded.

i get my news from jon stewart....
btw i switched to Fox during the SB and Hannity had his great fair and balanced debate...but there were 4 neocons to one "liberal" and they hardly let him retort...yeah that's some fair and balanced debate. I miss Alan Colmes making a mockery of Sean every nite, that was the only time i ever tivo'd that trash of a newschannel.

as Tony Blair said, they had UN Resolutions and Parlimentary and Congrssional approval

I don't get the illegal part

Saddam and Iraq violated every single condition of the the surrender that ended Desert Storm. Just on that alone we were justified in going back in there

100% correct...I guess some people forget the hours and hours of testimony give by Colin Powell...
