Good for Florida! As ridiculous as your statement is, it’s not a bad idea to remove the people spreading lies and nonsense to our school children. Indoctrination of our children should never be accepted. The future of the liberal model of education in this country is clearly visible now with half the kids in this country can not even read on their own grade level. They have no idea what Lincoln is famous for , and they can’t tell you who America fought during the revolutionary war. The Florida state government is the model that all state governments should follow if you truly care more about the people of your state instead of your own political power and aspirations . Wait...who are the people spreading lies and nonsense to school children? And last I heard, books like the autobiography of Rosa Parks were banned from schools. A book about Rosa Parks is "lies and nonsense"? |

Wonder what is DM's favorite takeaway restaurant? In the USA, probably Chili's. For fast food, I'll go Taco Bell. I wonder what Stormy's is? |

Thinking it's Random Acts of Kindness week, and my committee at work gave our colleagues a challenge to do a R.A.K. every day this week. It's been really nice to see such good deeds happening around the school.

It's definitely possible. But you need to consider some important factors:
1) Do you both have the means to be able to travel to one another's countries for regular visits? Airfare gets expensive. 2) Do you have cultural differences that might end up becoming an issue? 3) Both partners need to be "all in". Long distance is hard...particularly when from different countries. You'll spend the majority of your time on video calls. How are you going to keep things interesting? 4) Think about your end goal. Are you willing to relocate at some point (or have your partner relocate to your country)? P.S. I was in Kathmandu in October. I enjoyed visiting your country. |

Yep, I still have a big-time crush on Mark.
Still thinking Leah. But I also think he still crushes on River a bit as well. |

Exceptionally means to a greater degree than normal. Extremely means to a great degree. I would also say exceptionally means higher than extremely. My thoughts as well. |

That is how serial killers start out..with an unfulfilled fantasy. That's right. I think Jeffrey Dahmer was into furries and no one would oblige. Look what happened. |

Excited! My mom and I received a pretty nice stateroom upgrade for our upcoming Disney cruise this summer. Pixie dust!

Why would only half be talked about? I'm pretty sure it's common to talk about sex before having it. Unless you're referring to some people not discussing it due to religious or cultural taboo?

Talk to your boyfriend and see what he thinks. If it's something you feel you need to hide from him, then that's your answer.

Just ordered and sent my daughter a spiritual care package. That's sweet of you, River! Can I ask what's in it? I decided that for Christmas this year I'm going to give my daughters gifts centered around self-care and well-being. As one of the gifts, I'm making them each a self-care/well-being planner and journal. I just bought cute ring planners and I'm tailoring the inside sections for each daughter (scrapbooking the dividers, putting in fun inserts in each section where she can track different things that she is into, finding just the right stickers for tracking things or decorating the planner pages in each section). My youngest daughter is into spiritual stuff, crystals, tarot cards, etc. In her planner there's even a section where she can track her daily tarot card reading. I'm giving her little stampers with the different tarot suits so she can stamp in her daily reading. I hope she likes it. It's a lot of work though, and not sure when I'll be done. Still trying to come up with different ideas, and to find other gifts to coordinate with it. Definitely by Christmas, though! |
