Personally...I just try to take everything as a learning experience my creator has given me to grow/evolve. Whether good or bad, its all just to make me stronger and wiser...So I try to just keep my prayers more about what Im grateful for in my life. Agree with this wise person. |

Yes. I saw a young woman whose bike was down on the side of the rode. I stopped and asked if she needed help. She asked, "do you know how to fix a bike?" I said "no, but I know how to put it in my trunk and take you home." Which we did!! She was a wonderful young Mom who ended up having an 18 month old with medical issues. I gave her some good info about natural health and she was so grateful. When I left she, rather than insult me with trying to pay, said, "don't worry, I WILL pay it forward!" That was amazing to me. We also have kept in touch and she plans to take some natural health classes!! Her husband is in the military and away as well. It was joyful and humbling!

Sounds as if you have made progress. I agree that knowing yourself and what you want (and sticking to that) will help. If you have been in abusive relationships before, you should be able to recognize the signs. People treat you the way you allow them to!!! And as a mom, you have to keep your child first and foremost and make sure he/she does not grow up in an environment where abuse is tolerated...then they think it is "normal" and are prone to repeating that behavior.

Yea, it is all the "cougar" info being fed to everyone. Age isn't a big issue, to a point. I still prefer someone near my age as well. I guess the offensive end is the young (immature) ones who think we are all deprived of a physical relationship and desperate...which is how we are portrayed on the movies & TV shows. It is similar to the young girls looking for a sugar daddy...thinking if they are over 50 they have $$$$.
