it was a pretty bad movie. There was no ending.

Umm.. yes there was. The ending was perfect in every way imaginable. Not to spoil it, but the ending is dark and brutal.. It's very realistic.

The movie is amazing. You may get a slight headache from the shaky cam stuff... But other than that, its excellent and VERY MUCH worth seeing in the theatre.

And the monster was not lame at all. And Octopus? Where are you getting that? It didn't have tentacles or anything like that. It had a wicked tail, but.. yeah..

Here's a pretty accurate drawing of the creature:
http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e240/bubhui/CLOVEY1.jpg

It's not 100% right, but close enough.

The movie is really good. I think you need to see it for yourself and not listen to morons who bash it for stupid reasons like:

-The filming was awful
-the monster looked stupid! (first of all, it looked cool... secondly, the monster is not the point of the film)
-There was no ending! (there definitely was, moron)

All in all, it's a love story set in a chaotic 9/11 esque situation. It's about love, friendship and questions how you would react in a situation like this.

Actually monster totally reminded me of a larger version of the beast that Obi-won Kanobi rode in Star War's two(minus the tail). It defintely doesn't look anything in the way of an octupus. All though it does have external membranes upon it's head. The Movie left it open that thing could of possibly came from the ocean or outer space. The guy filming the movie expounded upon this during his tutelage as camera jockey. Yes, the compaint's about the movie come from people who don't know much about cinematography and lack any kind of credibility! They lack incite into what the director was trying to achieve here! The Movie like he said will have a sequel and it ended leaving you wondering what happened to the people. The Story Line was great all throughout the movie. Actually, The kids were earlier to mid-twenties. Post-graduate worker's embarking on there lives and career's. They were from Manhattan! So, most likely upper middle-class and upper-upper class kid's. No Punk's. Thier neighborhood was posh in setting.
It was just a classic from begiining to end. No complaint's from me at all. I couldn't of seen the film being made any better than it was.

I think we need to change the introduction. Find a better way to word it so that EVERYONE will feel welcome, but to still discourage disrespectful comments. Maybe open up a new room, and just call it Rainbow Pride Romance, or something like that. Perhaps the "matchmaking game" isn't for everyone. Just an idea. What ya all think?

I meant no disrespect at all! I have friend's who are gay and I am fine with that. I was just playing as you should be able to tell! Curt

Where the hell is Cheboksary Chuvashiya? And can I get there from riverside in less than an hour? If your going to hook us up, At least get them from our area!!!!!drinker drinker drinker drinker drinker

Chances are that is located in The Ukraine or some Baltic state, such as Latvia. You most likely were matched by the Father and have to drink vodka out of a dead smelly goat's ass that has been sun dried just for purposes of wedding toast! By the way, the wedding cost 2650 Rubles or 199.99 in American Currency!

Very good, the ebb and flow of words lend much credance to your writing...................
Vivid colors, a kaleidoscope enveloping her wings
As her flight crescendos to its cumulative peak
Escalading her path, her malevolent pace sings
A beckoning call for suitors to seek
a sort of sonnet-esque.

Yea, this is one of my better work's. This was about my ex and how I seen her in the beginning of our relationship. She was coming out a 16 year marriage ready to give love a shot again. We lasted about 14 month's and it sort of the way thing's started and the way thing's ended. I think I wrote it in like 2 setting's the light side to transition to the darkside. This was like two nights of 4 a.m. drunkenness. took me about 1:30 minutes to write it in toll.

there was alot of scrambling around with the picture and the monster yea it was showed decently but it was a pretty dumb design and it doesn't explain anything in the movie which also sucked

then i won't be watching it.

the motion would make me puke.

First off! There isn't enough camera motion to make you sick in the movie. Secondly, they left the plot the way they did because the idea of "what people don't know is scary as ****!" Hence, the city(manhattan) was left in a state of panic. Thus, creating mass hysteria and lack of communication. This Movie is sort of designed like Independence Day and War of The world's. You are just missing the point there of the intended reaction of the movie. Maybe, it is just to complex for you to understand the underlying overtones!

No time, not a moment just a chance to embrace
No fear, no doubt of one's self
only a step towards an allusive face
time to dust that book off on the shelf
turning the page starting a new chapter
a prelude to a laugh or a smile
seeking love or whatever your after
a whisper, an echo travels for miles
like a butterfly caught in a gale wind
her somber and solo flight finally ends
time to be reborn, cocooned by passion
a phoenix of colors rises from the ashes
burning bright for all to see from the heavens above
sun to shine, a reason to sizzle
sought out by many, but only one for true love
A second chance in a lifetime, reasons to bedazzle
Vivid colors, a kaleidoscope enveloping her wings
As her flight crescendos to its cumulative peak
Escalading her path, her malevolent pace sings
A beckoning call for suitors to seek
Courted by a marshalling of fate
Designing by a webbed intricacy to complex to follow
Trapped by her evil ways, venom to the taste
Mortal victims entwined in her net, forced to swallow
Imbibing a potion to sweet to be enjoyed
Doomed to parish by the means of a lustful death
Her colors have changed to black, her arts of torture employed
Her follower heart stops, suckling down to the last breathe
Such a beautiful sight his stone gaze held
This striking mortal transformed in front of his eyes
Into a fanged beast for whom he somehow fell
Doomed to eternal life beyond the gates of hell
Foolish pride and a blind minds eye
Shall lead to death of her down deep inside
Living her pathetic life, no love, just waiting to die
So cold, so black, nothing real, nothing but lies

like dont get me wrong it was good and all but the camera sucks
its not your normal movie camera its through a cam corder as if it was a home video
like the dudes running it shows feet on the ground and it turns fast made it sooo dizzy... its good if only the camera was different

i see, so it's jumping around a lot.

and as far as the home video camera. They actully did a very good job with it. There isn't to much of the camera bouncing around. Most of the time you get a good picture of the movie and the monster.

No! It isn't that. Many woman just have a very heightened emotional state around this time and thier moo'ds tend to fluctuate. So, most men don't want to have to deal with that.

I have heard that they don't show you the monster in the movie.

I just watched it and they DO show you the monster quite a lot of times. from far away and up close.

It's a pretty good movie in my opinion. Pretty interesting and innovative way of shooting a film.

I like it.

O they show the monster! I believe a perfect amount of times. It leaves you still wondering pretty much what it was for most the movie. It is quite the cinematic endeavor. I thought they did a great job with it. Pay again to see in the theatre.

I have been in that situation also. I think it just depend's on the level of flirtation and if it continues. Most people do not just grab there friend's girlfriend's/boyfriend but without assumption first that is ok do! Meaning some eye contact or prior flirtation.
