if anyone believes that anything done on the Howard Stern show is real, racially unbiased then I have a bridge I would like to sell you.laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh More White Wing propaganda

Ummmmmmmm Howard is voting for Obama. He was just pointing out how the uninformed look at the presidential race. I'm sure they could get the same results with McCain using Obama's views. It's just scary, interesting but damn scary.
Point is he had them go to harlem not chelsea. He was clearly looking to made black people look uninformed, otherwise he would have done both.

I don't care how experienced you are if you keep making the same mistakes and trying to maintain the status quo. I also believe that he has something to prove in terms of having America come out as the "Victor". That is the scariest thing about him to me. War is a last resort and not something to cling to to prove a point.

the most amusing part to me is that men earning $50,000.00 a year are considered rich.

With that in mind I guess that is why the GOP thinks Obama is going to raise their taxes. They are Richlaugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

Rich Old White Men: Still the Problem
by The Nation

The latest New York Times-CBS News poll identifies the demographic group with the highest level of support for John McCain: rich old white men. Coincidentally, they are also the people who control Wall Street, Congress, and the White House.

The poll defined "old" as "45 or older." Many will take issue with
that definition, but those old white men supported McCain over Obama
48-42 per cent. White men under 45, in contrast, supported Obama, 50-
43. And white women supported Obama, 45-42, whatever their age.

The poll also shows that rich white people are even more likely to
support McCain - no surprise. Here the poll defined "rich" as earning
$50,000 or more. Most will take issue with that definition, but those
rich white people supported McCain 49-42. (The poll did not provide
separate figures for women and men among rich old white people-
probably their sample was not big enough.)

White Protestants are even more likely to support McCain, according
to the poll: they split 55-34 for McCain. White Catholics in contrast
supported Obama, 53-46.

Extrapolating from these figures, we can conclude that rich old white
Protestant men are the base of McCain's support -- and thus the
number one problem in American politics today.

The poll did contain some signs of progress, even for old white men:
fewer of them support McCain than supported George W. Bush four years
ago. 62 per cent of old white men voted for Bush in 2004, according
to the poll, while only 48 percent plan to vote for McCain this year
- a switch of 14 per cent of old white men from the "problem"
category to the "part of the solution" group.

The shift away from the Republicans among old white men was dwarfed
by the figure for young white men. Their support for the Republican
candidate fell from 62 percent in 2004 to 43 per cent today--a
whopping 19 percent switch away from the "problem" category. Young
white men today prefer Obama, 50-43.

Another recent poll shows Obama winning more white voters than any
Democrat in three decades. The Gallup Poll shows 44 percent of non-
Hispanic white voters supporting Obama. Politico's David Paul Kuhn
calls that "the highest number for a Democrat since 47 percent of
whites backed Jimmy Carter in 1976." It's more than Bill Clinton got
in 1996, when he won the support of 43 per cent of whites and 38 per
cent of white men. The peak support for a Democrat among white voters
was for Lyndon Johnson in 1964, who won more than 50 per cent.

The New York Times-CBS News poll was released October 24 and showed
that the split among all registered voters was 52 per cent for Obama,
37 for McCain.

McCain Campaign Agrees With CNBC Pundit: Americans Making $200,000 Are ‘Not Rich’»

mccainbowtie3.jpgWriting in Avenue, “a glossy, lifestyle magazine that chronicles the lives of Manhattan’s affluent and socially powerful,” CNBC’s Maria Bartiromo warns readers that under Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL), “the income tax is…in for a bump”:

Right now [it] is 35 percent, Obama wants to take that to 39 percent…We’re talking about people who make over $200,000. That’s not rich. So it’s actually going to impact more people than you may think.

$200,000 may not look like much from Bartiromo’s perch, where she is making a seven-figure salary and just received a whopping $500,000 for her book advance.

Michael Goldfarb, the newest member of Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) communications team, highlighted Bartiromo’s statements in the “Morning Update” on the official campaign blog, The McCain Report.

The McCain campaign’s perception of American incomes is woefully out of touch. An income of $200,000 places an American family firmly in the “rich” category:

– The 2006 census showed that an income of $174,012 put an American household within the top 5 percent of income earners.

– A report by the Citizens for Tax Justice estimates that in 2008, “only 3.2 percent of taxpayers will have adjusted gross income (AGI) greater than $200,000 and only 2.1 percent will have AGI over $250,000.”

– A 2007 Wall Street Journal article placed earners who make $277,000 in the top 1 percent of all income earners.

McCain’s fundamental misunderstanding of American incomes leads to his disastrous policies. His so-called “middle class tax relief” plan gives only 9 percent of its benefits to the bottom 80 percent of taxpayers, doling out 58 percent of the benefits to the top 1 percent.

McCain, of course, ranks as the eighth wealthiest U.S. senator, with an average net worth of $36.4 million.

In my last post someone inferred that Mc Cain would be a better president cause he is more like a regular joe.

My question is, when did we as americans decide that we would settle for regular, ordinary, average or common people to lead us? Do we really want that in a time of crisis? Is regular joe code for something else? Where our founding fathers regular joes?

if you want a different out come

you must put different input

no matter what you are speaking of

Hey, that is what i thought about the "OBAMA IS THE Devil" thread yesterday, but most people seemed to think that was all in fun.

Sorry, Enderra. Not pickin' on you personally, I promise. Frankly, I could have come up with something myself that I wouldn't like!! bigsmile I wouldn't have wanted that yesterday on Obama, either. My touchiness got the better of me. The politics stuff can get on my nerves, I admit, and especially all the sexist stuff.
I know you are an awesome person, and I was a little cranky on the politic stuff already, so please forgive me as it was not my intention to slight you or make you feel less than the wonderful person you are!! flowerforyou
Hey i am feeling the same way and thank you for the compliments. I just couldn't help myself. I could even believe no one reported it. Especially with those boneheads that were arested yesterday for plotting to kill Obama.
