You listen to this and you tell me what your opinion is. I heard this the day it was aired and was appalled to say the least. I will be voting for McCain but I'm sure Obama will win just for what you are about to hear.

if he loses it will be because of racism

so either way it is racism

and that is a shame

one would hope that this could be overcome

maybe in another 50 years

many who are not racist try to overcompensate for the past

which in actuality creates racism

i just wish everyone could be taken at their own merit

not because what happened in the past

to dwell in the past is not going to help repair the issue

I don't agree with that. It is not true of me, my family or my friends.

Democrats will be voting for Democrats. Union workers will be voting Democrat. Some Independents and some Republicans will be voting for Obama because they don't like McCain.

And I know a few union Democrats that won't vote for Obama because he is black. I know a few other Democrats that won't be voting for him because he is black.

There is also the abortion issue. Some people are voting for McCain ONLY for the abortion issue. I know people that do that even though they don't like him.

Where's the "racism overcompensation"?

clean Congress out while you're at it. Make it so they can serve only 8 yrs also instead of waiting until dementia has set in and they can't find their way to the bathroom, much less how to vote on an issue...and getting all their benefits for life!

the original intention of the founding fathers was to have "citizen statesmen". The intent was for the people to leave their lives for a couple of years and serve in the Legislature.

Ummmmmmmm Howard is voting for Obama. He was just pointing out how the uninformed look at the presidential race. I'm sure they could get the same results with McCain using Obama's views. It's just scary, interesting but damn scary.

Point is he had them go to harlem not chelsea. He was clearly looking to made black people look uninformed, otherwise he would have done both.

If "present" is the only vote they can cast...move them out too. Either do the job they were elected to do or leave if they can't get enough information or guts to vote one way or the other.
