..a simple poetic attempt

..one day i saw a flower growing by itself so i gently picked it set it on a shelf ..i fertilized (lol) and watered it made sure it had sunshine and from afar admired it ..my flower so divine ..i awoke one day and found it gone the flower i adored ..the pot from which it grew laid shattered on the floor.. .. i swept away the dirt and clay ..and began to realize.. that the beauty of my flower ..was only in my eyes... writings from the tombs... 
We can never own or possess nature, a person or anything. Your write is really good, and speaks to this ultimate truth I think

~ WILLOWS ~ And the willows bend with the wind. Sweeping to and fro, in unison, not alone. Weeping for no one. Singing softly to the current that moves them, that sends them a symphony of waves, notes, vibration. The willows have their inspiration and sway to satiation. Fulfilled, they become still, contemplating the essential meaning of being wholly rooted in the earth. They are one with the world and, they know it. ~© JDS 06/20/2009~ Rivulets A rivulet of water soft as a river of tears musical twinkling lightly brightly washing down natural debris and unwanted fears an endless cycle as natural as breathing seemingly stable but ever so fleeting wash my heartache away clear the tears from my face let me float upstream to a happier place where nature’s bounty a beautiful sight to behold sooths cools my savaged soul a rivulet of water soft as a river of tears will eventually dry and die with the passing of years... This is a repost. I just haven't found the time to write poetry lately, but it's a rainy day where I live and I just thought of this poem. Trickling streams flow down the pane, Pouring, slowing, dancing rain, Tip toeing in joyous harmony... Tapping out vaudeville melody. Glorious drops, escalating tune, Lively miracles birthing soon, Flowers forming below streams, Rainbows in a child's dreams. Puddles explode, toddlers play, Stomping, giggling, rainy day Melancholy moms sip tea, Unaware what beauty be. Stop! Listen! Feel the storm, Brilliant miracles being born, Life exploding beyond a pane, Pouring, slowing, dancing rain. SDF It's rainin' here too. Great imagery mysti!
