People are people. No one is perfect and no one is solely flawed. I think how any person chooses to conduct him/herself is irrelevant as to how I choose to conduct myself. Like anyone, I can only take responsibility for myself.

There are people who truly care about one another here; some who simply enjoy the site for what it is; and some who conduct themselves in a way I do not believe they would ordinarily conduct themselves if not for the anonymity afforded by the internet. I don't think this is any different than on any other site.

There are different personalities and temperaments on-line, and we have a choice as to how we view what happens or does not happen here. I see people as essentially good yet know, this being cyberspace, the nature of a given relationship may be different than what is found in day to day life. Yet having said that, I see, and have met, some beautiful Souls on Mingle.

Relationships here can certainly be fleeting but I don't think that necessarily indicates someone is playing, or isn't authentic per se. People come and go for varying reasons, and also have lives to live, and so live them.

I write and share on this forum, and also truly appreciate what others share on this forum. I have met very good, supportive people and others where there is no mutual chemistry; this is life and is to be expected.

If a permanent friendship or love relationship develops while here, that is great. If it doesn't, it doesn't. What will be will be. I truly believe we will be with who is meant for us...that our loved one has already been given as gift, and it is only for us to meet and receive our gift.
