The writer awakes
To a new dawn

A new dream
A new thought
A new prose

She crawls softly in
Her slippers
So as not to disturb
The rising of the sun

Cup of java in her hand
She pushes the on button
And sits in her cottage chic chair

Listening to the motor hum
The fan wiz on her hard drive
She sips and waits for the
"pop" of her monitor that tells her
It time to begin

She watches the keyboard light up
Ablaze in all it's glory
Letters shining like the sun

Her
Day
Begins......
