When there is no water there will be chaos and madness. Get out while you can! Or set up your own desalination/distillation apparatus... Never understood why they didn't ever think to pipe in sea water for toilet flushing...sure, you need a separate sea water pipe but when the alternative is dehydration and death it seems a minor inconvenience. Yea I have never understood the water or fire control plans here in California. Can't even believe there are fireworks stands on every corner. You rarely see a house with any kind of fireproof roof or any kind of "waste" water system. Now we are pouring water out of the reservoirs to supposedly abide Federal laws to save the Salmon. Helly belly safe the people. You can "farm" the salmon.  PETA will take back your T-Shirt for that comment!

Who cares? People like what they like FFS I am skinny (and yes I still have curves thank you) but I am happy with who I am and feel no need to compare myself to others or make jokes about others. The media is into fat shaming. What about shaming period. You're right. Bullying/shaming of others is wrong. I long for a world where skinnies and chubbies can live in harmony.

Nonsense he doenst' incite anything, he is in his seventies,,,, he has as much right to his dissenting opinions of authority as anyone here has to their dissenting opinions of politicians, or lawyers, or any other group regularly shown disdain here only difference is the media decides when to give his voice public spotlight (he speaks to many issues that the public is never exposed to or drenched in the way media drenches them in anything interracial he becomes a part of) Yeah, yeah, yeah...he incites with his rhetoric and you know it. I am not disputing his right to dissent, I am saying that he lines his pockets by exploiting the very people he is purporting to render aid. Tell me one specific thing he has accomplished on behalf of the black people. What persistent change ensued due to his speeches or activism? What has he lent his voice to that wasn't already a much publicized happening he was trying to cash in on? EXAMPLE OF HIS "ACTIVISM" This past weekend, Rev. Al Sharpton headed to Hartford, Connecticut for an anti-violence rally. On Saturday, he spoke at Shiloh Baptist Church, and in a typical Sharpton move, he asked the members of the congregation to donate $100 or more to his National Action Network. Pastor Marcus Mosiah Jarvis was not happy about Sharpton trying to solicit money from his congregation, and he wasn’t afraid to say it. “How dare you ask the people of Hartford to give you their money!” the pastor yelled as Sharpton walked down the aisle of the church. “You’re nothing but a pimp!” And Jarvis didn’t stop there. He then confronted Sharpton for using the anti-violence rally as a cover for “coming into a community where people are struggling for jobs, struggling for money, and demanding money to speak.” “Don’t you come up in here asking us for money,” he concluded. Stunned, Sharpton mumbled that he wanted the money so that he could build a memorial for victims of violence in Hartford, but Jarvis wasn’t buying it. The pastor later told the press that the people of Hartford do not need a memorial. Instead, they need “classes where people can come for credit repair, establishing credit, home ownership, creating a resume, how to look for a job, mock interviews. “That’s how you empower people,” he told the press. |

Heheheehehee Is that so ... that means it would work if the guy was a midget. Thing is, tall women prefer a tall guy, and he won't be bent in half... Like I said, I prefer my take on it. WOW! Why does he "obviously" have a low IQ? Because his views don't agree with yours? Stop pandering.
Who knows why his hatred grew. Maybe he was ill received as a rapper, perhaps he was the victim of a bully who happened to be black, maybe he latched on to racism as his expression of teen angst. The why doesn't matter. People were murdered. And understanding his particular "why" is no indicator of anyone else's why. When racists terrorized another ethnic group without the use of guns they used methods like rape, hanging, dragging behind trucks or gangs of "thugs" to corner and beat another to death. This isn't a platform for gun control. This is simply a senseless act that fails reason. |
