Thanks ya'll. It just hurts to have a guy you fall for instantly (kind of like what happened with him) and he's extremely cryptic.

And what's worse, he is a poet, so he plays with words and it's so confusing.... I like to be straight forward about things.... I hate playing around subjects and how he does it confuses the hell outta me.

"Searching"

My fingers may tire
But my mind is on fire
Withe a burning hope, a desire
I seek the truth
And with this passion, I become a sleuth
Searching for my "x" on the map
And avoiding the trap
I seek answers
To my ideas' tiny dancers
That spin and twirl like neon lights
Leaving me to see such strange sights
I ponder on each event
But I still have no idea what they meant
Should I follow my flighty mind
And go in it blind?
Or should I think more
Until my head is sore?
The facts are what I need
So I'll just plead....

Put my mind at ease and just leave me be.......

Basically I wrote this for the guy I fell for, and had the courage to show him.... pretty much, told me he loved it and it was beautiful, and wrote poetry for another chick. Just my luck huh?

Dark eyes penetrate my mind
I wonder what they're trying to find
Large hands caress my skin
Makes me confused about these men
Soft kisses on my cheek
Has my mind scrambled for a week
Winking at me with that playful smile
Just seems to add onto the pile
My cheeks burn
and I have to turn
Only to feel your warm embrace
This touch always makes my heart race
I just want to know why
Why each time I see you I leave with a natural high?
Why am I falling for you?
What did I do?
From first glance I knew
And each time I saw you these feelings grew.
Now a couple hundred miles away
I am counting to the day
To see your face...
Then finally....
The puzzle pieces will fall in place.

.. when you can't do something because they can't read the dates on the check, and they get pissed off at you because of it.
