This is something I wanna do. Nothing wrong with it. I am writing to a soldier as well.
The way I see it...People in prison no matter what they did they are still human. Many have just thrown them again saying they are worthless and mean nothing. We are ALL one bad decision away from being in the same spot! |

If you feel comfortable writing them,, feel free to do so. Just be careful with your feelings and about revealing personal information. Until you actually meet someone, you don't really know them. It's nice you're trying to bring comfort to someone who is having a hard time, everyone just wants you to be safe about it.

I did my research on him before I wrote a letter. The site gave you pretty much everything bout them. Name, age, birthday ect. I googled him name and did research. I don't want some random guy to break into my house. No worries. I enjoy writing to him, its intersecting to meet new people Yes, Prison is obviously in my top 3 places to go socializing and meeting new and "interesting" people  That's you. This is me! Nothing wrong with it, I like to reach out to people. So I really don't care what you have to say or even think.

He didnt kill anyone or anything. Just got mixed up in the wrong crowd, I made sure before I wrote to him. Everyone makes mistakes..just depends if you get caught or not.

Anyone ever do this? I just starting writing one and he really likes that someone is reaching out to him. I think its a great idea to reach out to them. Most of them are really lonely an looking for someone to talk with an share life's ups and downs.
