I am just sick of people calling me stupid an foolish bout all of this, all I am doing to reaching out to someone through hard time. I am also writing to a solider, which is going through a harder time then the prisoner.

I did judge him a little when I chose to write. If he goes back to his old ways then I would stop talking to him an write it off, but if he steps up an becomes a better person then he will be a good friend of mine. Right now he is a good friend till I am proven wrong.

really this is still going? I am dating someone else! He is not in prison that's why my status changed, so get your story straight before you judge. I do not agree with what he did but I do not judge people on their past. He was 17 when this happen, I am not trying to stick up for anyone! He told me it was a hand gun..not sure what type. He knows how I feel about all of this an I do not really trust him. Yes I did go see him an plan to again and again, nothing wrong with it! He is a friend of mine. Think what you want, I understand the concern and the cold hard truth but I know what I wanna do an how I feel about all of this.

Thank you!! My god people, he was young an dumb. We all did really stupid things in our past. He has learned from all of this and "says" he has changed. My BS radar is on high, I am giving him a chance to prove himself. Like Bedlum said people do change sometimes. Yeah so he made a mistake oh man lets kill him because he made a huge mistake! I just don't understand you guys sometimes. Yes this is not the smartest thing I have done but still everyone needs a friend! No matter what happen in the past, I believe he has learned but only time will tell. Nothing wrong with reaching out to someone an just being there. So what I went to see him..nothing wrong with it. I'm not justifying anything just telling what happen.

1- I was on facebook an meant to click "like" on some ad an by mistake clicked the ad to write a prisoner, so I looked around on the site, found his profile. It stuck out to me so after about a month of arguing with myself I sent a letter out.
2- He is cute but nothing more then friends will come of this, I have told him this an also told him that I will never send anything but letter.
3- He told me straight out what happen. The gun's safety was off an he didnt know till after it went off. His finger slipped an hit the trigger. You may not believe it but I do. He never lied to me before.

It is serious an he admitted to all of it, even in court. How you think is messed up! I hope you never make a mistake an get caught an throw into jail, I hope the judge is nice. You NEVER know when you or someone you love will end up in jail. It happens. An yes I did plenty of research, there are public records you can pull up for free. They give you everything even speeding tickets.

This is the only thing he has ever done. They throw the book at him..he got 22 years!! He robbed a store at gun point an the gun went off, he didn't mean for it to go off. The female was shot but did not get hurt bad. She is still alive. I just don't understand why he got so much time, that's crazy! I did all of my research on him an there is nothing else in his past. He has been locked up for 11 years in November. An he is going to try to file to get out in 2 years. 22 years is a little much for first time offense. I know a lot about him, his past an his plans for when he gets out.

I have been writing a prisoner for bout a month now. Some look down at me because I have chose to write to him. I don't understand what the prob is. There is NOTHING wrong with reaching out to someone. I went to go visit with him last weekend and plan on going again. I hate how some people are so closed minded when it comes to this.

Soon came a day under the skies there were gray. Then I knew I couldn't stay in this ghost town full of clones and clowns and carbon copy towns. With kine and swine and nothing that was mine. And this town's decline with my hatred intertwined, so I gather all I find and I bolted it to me. Fueled my fires and I grabbed my pliers, and I'm lit! I made my own machine. Yes' we're building steam, I hate the same routine!
