The bill had nothing granting amnesty. Refugees from Afghanistan would've gotten permanent status (not citizenship) but most of the bill is about funding for more people to work on the problems at the border. Seemingly more important to Republicans would've been the part of the bill that shuts down the border when too many immigrants come. You can look it up yourself.

Hah. No, it's the Republicans knifing that baby. If Congressional Republicans wanted immigration reform, we'd have it by now. Biden and Senate leaders got together (Rep. Johnson backed out) and negotiated a bipartisan border deal and Trump made Republicans kill the deal, so as not to give Biden any wins.

There is no "deep state"--at least not as you claim. Biden doesn't direct the DOJ. He just appoints the AG and head of the FBI and trusts they do their jobs, as a President should. The "deep state" BS is getting tired, especially because like the "stolen election" it's a claim perpetuated by all the crybabies on the right, dissatisfied with the election results. Get over it. If you've got any evidence that Biden is directing the DOJ or FBI to break laws, I'd like to see it.

As far as your "horrible economy," maybe look at the stock market's record highs, or the record low unemployment streak, or the dropping inflation rate that's already about half it was when Reagan proclaimed it was "morning in America."

Trump's the one showing a mental decline. Have you heard any of his speeches, lately? The guy's losing it. One moment saying he's got hundreds of $millions on hand and the next griping about not being able to put up a $450 million bond. Maybe we'll find out which is it, in a few hours, in between his blaming Nikki Haley and Nancy Pelosi and insisting he'll "beat Obama again" so that Biden doesn't "get us into World War Two." LOL.

You seem to think Biden brought those lawsuits in the various states to disqualify Trump from the ballot, but those were mostly brought by Republicans and all of them were brought by plaintiffs in the respective states. Neither Biden nor the DOJ joined those lawsuits. Biden's just doing his job, and quite well. Time for Congressional Republicans to meet the challenge.

It's not up to me, or Biden, or any campaign what AG James does in New York. So maybe it's good news for you that Trump loses his cases. Maybe he ends up poor and homeless but gets elected and becomes the dictator you want.

Sorry about the biscuits, but it looks more like corporate greed in that case. Inflation over the past couple years is barely over 10%. Not 66%. Restaurant pricing is like the old "Lemonade stand" game, and if their prices are too high, then you need to stop going there, or else they'll get the message that they can charge whatever they like and their stupid customers will keep paying more.

As far as polls go, maybe you can cite a source, because the polls I see show Trump and Biden going up and down by a few percent, and no correlation to current events. The general sentiment is that most independents hate both Biden and Trump, and the bases are pretty steady with their candidate. But it's also not an attack from Biden on Trump when SDNY finds Trump liable for bank fraud and tax evasion. Even the upcoming criminal trials are independent of Biden.

There's no requirement that the prosecutor has to have sympathy for the defendant, and it's not unfair for a prosecutor to want to win their case, either. There are rules of the court and there is no evidence the D.A. has violated any such rules.

As for Trump's popularity, it's not a matter for the court. The court weighs the facts and makes rulings. The D.A. came with a real case with facts and Trump failed to come up with a credible defense. It was so clear that the DA got a default judgement. That's not political. It'll be up to the campaigns to deal with Trump's popularity.

You keep saying that. President Biden isn't a criminal. At least as far as anybody can find. Even now with the "impeachment inquiry" they've only exposed the lies of some Republicans and their sources. Alexander Smirnov--the guy who claimed Joe & Hunter each got $5 million from the Burisma CEO, was arrested for lying to the FBI. So much sloppiness.

Also, Joe Biden isn't the one even blaming anybody. He's just doing his job. All the criminal indictments and investigations are the results of criminal complaints. Often from other Republicans. Maybe it's time to just accept that that dog won't hunt. Joe Biden isn't a criminal. His son's a mess, but "the big guy" is just a senior politician and the target of Republican ire.

As a person who's worked in the software industry for decades, I'm not too concerned about some aspects of the lawsuit, but Apple has been pulling too many shenanigans for too long. Mostly, they've been absolutely shafting competing app developers and hardware makers like Samsung, Microsoft, Sony and countless small startups obliterated along the way. It's alright to protect their brand and their customers, but crushing competition--especially rivals with better ideas happens too often. Apple makes some good products, but they're not always the best and shutting out competitors artificially raises prices and delays some improvements by years.

Both Russia and Ukraine welcomed foreign troops to come help them, but there are no official US or British troop deployments to Ukraine. Any such people there are serving as regular Ukraine militia. I know some Ukrainians in the US Army, so it wouldn't surprise me if someone like them went to Ukraine to notionally fight with the Ukraine forces, but secretly act as US military advisers. The war in Ukraine is a huge military intelligence gold mine.

Hah. Funny thing about that sentiment: It's the government taking back money from Trump, and it's not yet up to $billions, though with interest and Trump's famous tendency to never pay, it could. More likely, DA Willis will simply seize some or all of Trump's NYC properties until the judgements are satisfied (So long 40 Wall St. & Trump Tower). Possibly seeking to seize properties elsewhere, too.

This has nothing to do with President Biden, or even the current DOJ. This was from a civil lawsuit filed by the DA in NYC. The stuff coming from Biden's DOJ is from multiple criminal complaints and investigations and indictments handed down from grand juries. Not Biden. It's not like how Trump directed his DOJ to do shady stuff. Biden appointed Garland to head DOJ and expected him to do it responsibly, and independent of President.

So, ignore the biggest thing Trump couldn't handle and he looks better. Shocking. It's not just that the pandemic makes any leader look bad, under Trump the US did worse than most other countries.

The stock market is higher and unemployment lower now than any time under Trump, and Biden actually gets things done without staying up until 4AM Tweeting to upset the markets. Fewer troops died in Afghanistan under Trump than under Biden. Trump was an awful president and Biden is a good president. Trump is a proven criminal. Biden is an objectively good man who loves his family. The election is still many months away, but signs now are swinging Biden's way.

I disagree. Capping insulin for Medicare patients to $35/month is good. Allowing Medicare to negotiate drug costs is good. The CHIPS Act was a brilliant bipartisan bill that brings manufacturing jobs back to the US and improves our semiconductor industry and reduces Chinese expansion.

Investing in our infrastructure is good, and even Trump wanted to do it, but never had the capability to work anything out beyond just declaring "infrastructure week" a few times. All Trump's greatest plays were always "in two weeks." Sometimes even his plans for improvements were the same two weeks away. Pathetic.

No, it's the law in New York that they take back the money gained illegally. Trump has been a crook for decades, but they could only claw back from the point of the statute of limitations.
