My little sister was "dating" my ex-boyfriend while he was trying to get back with me. He said he was using her, she tried to commit suicide and he begged me back for months. I simply said no, move on.

Personally, I do not believe in cheating. Cheating is just an intentional plan to hurt someone. If you want to cheat, just leave that person because it's much better than cheating. Or just don't cheat at all, it's liberating and a good trait to have.
