Obama's speech didn't solve the issues. Obama condemned Rev. Wright’s inflammatory remarks as “wrong and divisive,” but the question remains why didn't he leave that church? In fact why is Obama still in the church? Why doesn't he leave even today? This Rev. Wright screamed from the church pulpit three times, "God damn White America." Wright's sermon with these words is even on a DVD that the church proudly sells.

Obama represents himself as a man of the future transcending the anger of the past, as represented by Rev. Wright. If Obama would have us believe this, then why does Obama continue to attend Wright's church and expose his children to Wright's racist vitriolic divisiveness? Additionally, why did Obama give $22,500 just two years ago to a church run by a man of the past who infects the younger generation with precisely the racial attitudes and hate Obama claims in his speech to have transcended?

People are not closed minded. It is white people who propelled Obama into the running for president. There are not enough black/hispanic people to have done that; whites did it. So please tell me how these white people are closed minded.

Why is Obama going to a predominantly black church racist? No one has mentioned the fact that the church is almost all black. The problem is with the racist minister the Rev. Wright. Tell me when the media or anyone else mentioned the church being predominantly black.

My lilly-white world? "Lilly-white world" is an expression used by racists. Since I am an HR person I have access to documents, which the average person doesn't. One document listed word/words that are not to be used since they are considered racist. "Lilly-white world" was on the list. My suspicions are that you already knew that and chose to use the word. Let's say the above is true and that Obama really heard no evil and saw no evil. If this is absolutely true, it means that there is no way that Sen. Obama is ready to be President. How can we expect him to act with judgment and responsibility in Iran and Iraq, to pick a Supreme Court Justice or to undertake any other complex act under the pressing reality of being president when Obama did not notice the hate-filled sermons of Wright and Wright's association with Farrakhan in 17 years at his church?

On the other hand, if Obama noticed the goings on at Trinity Church but failed to act on them, what does that tell us about Obama's honesty and his courage? It tells us Obama is a liar and a coward.
