I think both of the candidates are both getting tired of this election...You can tell whenever you see them....So I guess we're not the only ones who can't wait til this is over. yeah Obama said he has been campaining for 2 years. i have been watching for at least one of them so if i am tierd, i know he is. Also the way McCain keeps seeming really angry in the debates... the other night he refered to Obama as "that guy" lol. I think McCain feels he is a war hero and cant believe he's loosing to that guy! so i know he needs to take a vacation. |

LOL ok i added the "B!tch" but thats essentially what i think he is saying to McCain
Barack Obama accused John McCain of scoring "cheap political points" with the personal attacks he had leveled at him in recent days. Speaking of the previous night's presidential debate, Obama said he was surprised McCain didn't attempt to repeat these attacks during their time on stage together: Obama remarks: "Well, I am surprised that, you know, we've been seeing some pretty over-the-top attacks coming out of the McCain campaign over the last several days that he wasn't willing to say it to my face." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/08/obama-mccain-scoring-chea_n_133132.html Truly i believe that McCain's campaing has no moral compass and is willing to do what ever it can to win. However McCain himself is a man of convictions and knows that he loses his Honor by directly attacking Obama with weak accusations. He wants to win straight up... but he is conflicted, he thinks he can only win by fighting dirty so he finds ways to do both... in interviews he can go for the sucker punch. with Obama standing there he is acting like a biyyyach! (to quote snoop dogg) |

I will be sooo relieved when the election will be over because I am not use to all this drama i am not use to being this involved. i am completely captivated by the process this year. Obama is someone i really relate to on a personal level and i hope he wins. McCain is someone that you have to respect for his service and he has put up a good fight. Although these past few weeks McCain has been showing his weakness and making it worst by being erratic. i will be happy on Nov 5 no matter what because i can go back to my regular life and watch something other than the news. i hear they have these things called sitcoms... apparently you laugh when watching them |

Makes one wonder who the party would have chosen. Can remember watching some of the conventions back in the mid-60's. The Presidential candidate was nominated first then the VP candidate. When did it all change???? i think the tradition was to choose the runner up. in McCains case, Mitt Romney to bring up old stuff. I kinda wish Hillary would have kept her composure during the primaries. when she started lashing out at Obama and at the same time praising McCain she really crossed the line and herself off the VP list. It could have been the dream team and we wouldnt be dealing with Palin because if you put Palin on the same stage as Hillary there is no doubt who the light weight is. That said Biden is a good pick. He dosent cause a lot of waves in the news cycle and he helps in Pennsylvania |

no It's never right to yell at anyone. If you can't talk to me without hollering, then it's best not to talk to me at all. aww c'mon sometime you gotta fight it out. most of the time when things bother us we never bring it up because the issue is small compared to the good things. sooner or later the two will equal out or bend in favor of bad things and your gonna have to put the gloves on! i need a fighter. prove your gonna be around even after i tell you i hate your mother! lol |

yelling, screaming and down right cursing is GREAT for a relationship!
and im not making jokes here. i really believe that if you can have a knockdown dragout argument (without hitting eachother) with your gf/bf and stay together, you will be stonger for it but there are rules, like boxing. touch gloves, no below the belt comments ("you have a small penis") stay on the topic at hand, and always end the fight with some solution or aggreement. its the proverbial "good game" of good sportsmanship. ....oh and you must have angry makeup sex after! |

i would really like to insult this woman on the merits of her comments but i sincerly have no idea what she is talking about.
the first response you posted mas pure jibberish the second response she completely avoided the question i mean it is really sad. my uncle is a known conservative and will defend McCain tooth and nail, but even he has trouble defending Sarah.... to the point that he looks depressed when i bring her up. that for me, says it all |

Ladies and Gentlemen, the President of the United States Barack Obama
i think we should get use to reading that. The man handled himself with dignity and class during the debates. McCain is behind by as many as 100 electoral votes and is lashing out like a taz cartoon wildly attacking and throwing new policies at the wall trying to see what sticks. The country is looking for stability and a belief that the person in charge is even handed under pressure. that man is Sen. Obama. |

The accurate quote is, "There's a place in Hell reserved for women who don't help other women." fits the marginal minority expressed by NOW, doesn't it? sure sounds like it to me. And where is the advocate for women that are not extreme liberal haters of men? Palin stepped up, and I haven't seen another woman step up to the plate as an advocate for women. Not this close to the White House. It must be because Palin is a conservative that she is unqalified to be a woman advocating women not advocated for by NOW. That is a ridiculous reason to cap on her, ladies. Have some sugar free diet KOOL AID. an advocate for women pleeeeease she is gonna set women back a couple of hundred years with her out of date thinking she doesn't give a darn about women's rights why the heck anyone would vote for her (McCain that is) is beyond me I was so going to say that. She will set us back in time with her way of thinking. She doesn't gave a damn about women's rights. She approved of rape victims paying for their own rape tests. That is unforgiveable!!! thats the kind of decision born out of religious fundamentalism and conservative extremism. |

im fairly clueless on this bank thing but it would seem to me they arent really broke.
it seems like they have a bunch of houses that they own and cant pay for right now... in essence they cant pay their mortgage and when they do pay it they cant loan other people money.... however the houses are still worth money. so if the banks held on to the houses they would be worth money... so its not that the banks dont have money they dont have liquid capitol am i wrong? |

The Red Sox won't get by Tampa Bay. The Rays have learned how to pitch around Ortiz and they won the season series with Boston. Mark it down kids. Tampa in six games over Boston. well it seems they have to beat the Angels first. 5 to 4 Angels in the 12th |

Alaska Governor and vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin is the recipient of harsh criticism from former Secretary of State and UN Ambassador Madeleine K. Albright after Albright was misquoted at a Saturday rally in Carson, California.
"What advice do you have for women who want respect from their male colleagues?" Dana Philbin of Chicago asked Albright for a January piece in Time Magazine. "Women have to be active listeners and interrupters," she responded, "but when you interrupt, you have to know what you are talking about. I also think it is important for women to help one another. I have a saying: There is a special place in hell for women who don't." "There's a place in Hell reserved for women who don't support other women," Palin said on Saturday, rewording a version of the same quote on another source: a Starbucks coffee cup. "Though I am flattered that Governor Palin has chosen to cite me as a source of wisdom," Albright told the Huffington Post, "what I said had nothing to do with politics. This is yet another example of McCain and Palin distorting the truth, and all the more reason to remember that this campaign is not about gender, it is about which candidate has an agenda that will improve the lives of all Americans, including women. The truth is, if you care about the status of women in our society and in our troubled economy, the best choice by far is Obama-Biden." http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Palin_misquotes_Albright_Albright_speaks_out_1005.html |

You make an excellent point. But don't forget to look at policies and political philosophies. Things like Foreign policy, etc. These are also very important. People do get awfully side tracked though... Why are they so focused onattacking each other, instead of making their point clear? again, a generalization. Both McCain and Obama have made their positions very clear. it is on the record and can be seen with a simple web search or watch of a debate. however, McCain has been the one with the attack ads while Obama has always focused on the issues |
