i've found that when it comes to online dating, i am far more particular about a person's looks than i am in real life. on a website, all we have to base our decision on whether interest exists IS a photo, and a few words on a profile. it makes them not meeting the grade that much easier, whereas in the real world, my attraction level tends to build as i'm getting to know the person and they do become more handsome. My thoughts exactly. In person you can also take things such as voice, the way they carry themselves, the way they laugh etc... into consideration. Whereas on here you can just go by their pics and the 1-2 sentence blurb they provide. I am wayy more picky on who I talk to on here than I am in person. Pics on a profile to me, are important. |

What is the best way to deal with rejection and heartbreak? I had met someone on here that I spent alot of time with to only find out that they were only messing with my emotions and feelings. How would you deal with this, would you confront them or would you just put it behind you and move on?  I am so sick of being taken advantage of I open my heart to someone and allow them to come into my life. I can't help the way that I am maybe I am trying to hard.
Yea, thats tough. no one likes to be rejected, but we all get rejected at some point in our lives. As far as to just move on or to confront them, well it depends. What do you expect to get out of the confrontation? Maybe some closure? Or reconciliation? What if that person is a coward (which if she was playing with your emotions, sounds liek she was leading you on already), and will not give that to you? Best advice I can give, is try to move on. It will take a while, but it is probably a better option that to confront them. I don't think there is anything gained from asking someone on what 'went wrong'. Sorry to hear that things did not work out for you, but it was probably for the best. |

Try dating a normal girl that won't bang other dudes and won't text you right after she has sex with someone else That would be my advice. Don't make her a priority, when she is making you an option. I know that is hard to realize, but the more you dwell on this, the more you'll get hurt. Trust me on this. Move on.
