Ok,--- cheezy or still "en vogue"...?? Thoughts???

I personally think that it's nice. It shows that you thought of the other person. Whether it's flowers, a card, or a small gift, it's an expression of you caring for the person.

Not long after I was in a relationship from Carlos, we were in Meijers and he told me to pick out a single rose. It wasn't a grand gesture, just something simple.

From my personal opinion, if a guys shows up on a first date with flowers he gets major brownie points, because that doesn't happen that often.

Also, if you think it might be a little cheesy to give flowers, listen to the person, find out what they are interested in or like and give a small gift that shows that you were paying attention.

I've yet to meet a woman who'd refuse flowers. What's important is whether *you*
want to give flowers and not base the decision on whether it's en vogue or not.

I don't think flowers are cheezy.I love getting & giving flowers.

Only one guy in recent history has given me flowers. It was one he picked, which was really sweet.

I'd definitely be happy if a guy showed up for a date with flowers.

I looove getting flowers!!!!

I've even sent men flowers and they liked it!

To me they are much more appreciated when given on the spur of the moment and does not have to be a dozen even just a few makes one smile from the heart....

I'm not one that would like them all the time but once in a while is nice.....

I think and feel,,that anyone's efforts to GIVE,,any kind of GIFT,,
is something that shows a respect and a kindness to THEM...
SO,,YES,,flowers ROCK,,and so do many very SMALL ideas of heart.

A note,,,,a card.....a call when not exspecting it,,because of it being a time of busy work for that one calling,,just to say,,THEY,,were thinking of them,,at THAT moment..

Many people act like its nothing,,when given a gift,,oh,,I mean,,well thank you,,,,but

NOT,,for the admirations that SOME or most SHOULD BRING,,,
at least a five minute PAUSE,,in their life,,,to say THAT,,as well as to allow the GIVER,,to know it REALLY meant something special to them to GET,,,wink,

I love getting flowers and cards when least expected, it makes me feel special.

Flowers are wonderful!

Ok. But how many of you chicks can actually keep the damn things alive for longer than two days???

the thought always counts,, although I am not good with them and they usually just die,,,but I appreciate the thought behind the gift,,,

Flowers are good as long as they don't come from the cemetary! My first ex actually did that to me once! LOL! Bless his heart.....

But I agree...any gesture...even just a short text saying someone is thinking of you brightens my day tremendously!

Hahahaha I can have keep them alive up to a week easy ya put them in the refrig over night and take them out during the day and keep ice cubes in the water as well.........

Cut the stems yourself, under running water. An aspirin and penny in the water are also supposed to help.

Or...potted flowers are good. If I can just remember to water them....

I love flowers as long as they aren't make-up flowers!! Don't peeve me off & try giving me flowers then or you'll end up in the doghouse!!
