Being a female myself...wait... yes still a female, I agree with M on the fact that, you could spend your life trying to get into a girl's mind and A) that is a scary ****ing place to be and B) once you think you have it all figured out, she will just change again. I find it a subconscious security system "your mental wall has been breached, proceed to door number 2, do not panic it is all under control." BAM! Now you are stuck getting through a new set of rules, a new system. My advice, talk to her, see what's up and then enjoy where it takes you. Don't question it all too much, because in the grand scheme of things, chances are she may make you happy, why ruin something that is bringing you happiness with doubt and the inability to communicate? The two essential things for ANY relationship (lovers, siblings, parent/child, teacher/student, boss/employee, ect.) 1. Respect 2. Communication
