this is what i have seen in some religion(this WAS in my own)where people think they know what to go by,they think their religion is the right one and if others dont believe then they immediatly say their going to hell because they think they know,for where i believe we already live in hell(war,drugs,murder,etc.). For all we know all religion is wrong or one could actually be right or vice versa. It upsets me that people of my religion have made you think that all christians are like this. I have never and will never tell someone they are going to hell. I dont know whos going to hell. You are right, none of us know whats right. |

it said all men are brothers, and all family, but churches and religion say anything unlike you is wrong, and to say another living thing is wrong, is to judge, and to judge is was told us we would not do if we seen the real truth, that the real truth would be someting so simple a child can understand and make nothing look at another as bad again....there is such truth that make all the pieces of civilization fit together like a perfect puzzle....just me Can you please tell me where and what religion says anything unlike you is wrong? My religion does not say that. In fact, the bible says do not judge. Maybe you should pick up a copy. |

The way you asked your question is very offensive. I never understood why people say christians are weak because they feel they need God. Im pretty sure, in fact, im positive that all of us are weak and whether or not you have faith in a higher being has no bearing on that. Nobody can completely lead their own life. Noone is that strong, im sorry.
I have one question..How has religion brought us war and blood shed? Those things are in the world because thats just the nature of humans. People fight, not everyone gets along, people do bad things. As for people turning their backs on family for their convictions, thats terrible. I dont think you should blame religion for one person or even a few people's actions. Every person is different even if they share the same religion. Just like I wouldnt say all atheists or all pagans are...fill in the blank. It's really sad that people attack each other because of their faith in something. Everyone has their right to believe whatever they want as long as they arent hurting anyone else. I, as a christian, am not a puppet believing lead by something but use the values of a religion to lead my own life. I make my own decisions, just happen to have faith in a higher power. |

well iknow that but i couldnt think of the right word at 2 am at the moment. isnt it more logical to pick between who is ahead. i mean i'd choose edwards to if he had a chance. it's the whole woman or black thing. im all for equal rights and women having the chance plus courage to be a president but if this woman became president i think our country would fall apart. There is no doubt it would. She is basically a socialist. Well... If Obama won president it would be "Different" in many respects, being that he is half black and Muslim. I personally think we just need a Republican president, but people now adays are too ignorant to see what this country truly needs. They would rather live off the government, than work with the government. i agree but you almost have to chose between the two who are most likely to win, it's like one of those questions would you rather eat a booger or smell a fart kind of thing Hahaha exactly! I wouldn't count out the Republicans though, if it ends up being "Christianity" vs. "Muslim" I think this Presidential election will be in the air. Most devout Christians are Republican, I know this since I'm in the bible belt :) I hate stereotypes. I'm a christian and a liberal. A real christian. I have faith in jesus and i believe in being a good person. I believe in human rights & everyone being treated the same. And in case you didn't notice Mr.Bush claims to be a good christian, does that make him a good president? You can judge that for yourself. Whats next, are they going to make it a requirement for the president to be a christian? Wasn't one of the ideals that this country was built on religious freedom? Everyone has their right to choose as long as they aren't hurting anyone. |

It's hard to say where are the decent women and its hard to say where are the decent men. There are so many people (men & women) out there just looking for flings & who hurt others constantly. It's not an easy thing for 2 genuine people to find each other.
All of us decent people just have to stick together and we'll find what we deserve one day. Here's hoping!
