Personally, I can relate to poetry as a way to express feelings and thoughts. I often find that the writing of others "speaks" to me. The words hit a chord and resonates. So, I don't find your use of the words "like, love, forever, commitment" intimidating.
Your profile tells alot about you; just give it a chance and some time. She's out there somewhere.

DING! DING! We have a winner. Hey that is what I go by. Attraction is looking across the room and saying: "That person is HOT!". Love is looking across the room 30 years later and saying the same thing. Just a thought... You summed it up great! and there is alot more than just looks in a love/attraction relationship to inspire that "That person is HOT!"
It's looking 1st, talking 2nd and finding out if there is a reason to continue to build a fountdation for that 30 yrs. later.

Janurary 1 In the new year, I will live one day at a time. I will make make each day one of preperation for better things ahead. I will not dwell in the past or in the future, only on the present. I will bury every fear of the future, all thoughts of bitterness, all my dislikes, my resentments, my sense opf failure, my disappointments in others, and in myself, my gloom & my despondency. I will leave all things buried and go forward in the new year, into a new life. What a great way to start the New Year HJ! You have summed up the resolution that has been swirling in my mind and heart .
