Speeding around a turn,
bumping into the wall, slamming on the gas to keep you from getting ahead. A wild laugh, hair whipped in the wind, I'm finally turning around the last bend, Go Kart racing - I WIN! You shake my hand, and acknowledge my supremacy. "Let's do this again sometime This is my kind of speed dating." Next subject: Old man with a bottlecap |

I can see you talking.
Your lips are moving, people are looking at you, apparently listening. Hey, is this important? Your lips keep flapping, in a spittacular dance, and the droning of your voice, has put me in a trance. Next subject: Veloceraptors |

Metal coffin,
both means of death, and means of burial. A giant set of teeth waiting for witch-hunter's prey. They pop the juicy flesh, and the juice goes wasted, across the floor. Macabre Maiden, womb of death, do not cry your rust tears for me. I do not know why the band chose this image for its namesake. Next subject: red hat |

I would just say that it would be easier for me to read if it weren't in all caps. It kind of distracts from the sentimentality you're trying to portray in your poem... but that may be a matter of opinion.

Dear God,
And I do not mean that in the exclamatory sense, as my father does when things go awry. Dear God, I was told we had to write a letter to someone, but that they could be dead, or even fictional. Not that you’re dead. Or fictional. But you could be, from what I’ve seen of the world. |

Hey!
Hey you, with your wondering eyes seeing everything new, I can tell you what to do. I'll tell you how to do it too. Brush your teeth and comb your hair, Wear brown clothes to suppress your flair, Always remember your clean underwear. What? Why are you walking away? Come back to me! I've so many things to teach you, don't you see? What? You want to be different? Huh. Then how will you fit into McBusinessR'Us! Ah small child, you're wiser than I, you raise your eyes and see the sky. sort of... through the smog anyway. this will all be your problem someday. Ah, small child, with so much to learn, under our sun you've yet to be burned. Someday your heart may be as black as mine, And you won't think the sky is half as fine. |

attempt: old paintbrushes AND Dogs
I have no use for this thing splattered blue and green, I haven't made art in years, it just sits in a tureen. I throw it out the window, but it comes back to me, covered in drool, but whole, I guess Fido has different plans for me. oops forgot the next subject... spaghetti! |

That was beautiful. The sweetness of memory, with a little bit of a chiding towards my generation. (Though right now, there's no way I'd waste any food. Especially free food)
Great write. |

Broken Whole

You'd think,
that with all the times I've been cut apart, emotionally, physically, dramatically, subtly, I'd be less of a person. That missing so many pieces, would make me just a piece. And yet. And yet, All these cuts, scrapes, bruises, tears, years, and breakages, have only added to my character. Taking away my emotional support, has only served to make me support myself, taking away those bits and pieces, have helped me live, and learn to move on. I am greater than the sum of my parts. |

I know that guy, and he knows,
that girl, in your science class, the one that likes that soccer dude with the goatee, who secretly has a crush, on that guy. Chains of connections that chain one person to matrimony, and another to someone else's bed, and another to a lonely bottle. These chains, these little loops, happily hugging one to the next, till someone breaks it all, and forms a new chain. I long, I lust, for that little loop of gold chain that single loop that says I will never have to be alone. But for now, I'd settle for a tinfoil band of sparkly bliss, like the subtle comfort of a hershey's kiss. Kiss me. |

Im a bartender (owner in 3 weeks) i know all kinds of off the wall drinks.... Ever heard of a mango-berry **** spritzer? It's a cheap party drink involving cheap liquor, any mixers you have left and sherbert... It is delicious, despite the ridiculous name. |

I totally saw some guy in a park trolling for chicks with an adorable wiener dog. I fell for it hook line and sinker. I'm a sucker for small furry things.

If you mix Mount Gay rum, Captain Morgans, and coke, you get a coked up butt pirate!
