I believe in being eclectic at all times... also, at this point, I really value comfort over looks... not like i'm going to randomly show it off to the people in the street. If I get a sig other who cares, he can buy something he likes, or I'd buy something special for him.

... I really wish I could find a rainbow bra. I don't know why, it just sounds cool.

oh 5 am
seeing you from the wrong side again,
trapped in waking nightmare
my inability to cope is startling.
Caffein laden syrup
an aid to the vigil,
the gears are grinding,
the clutch is gone
with a brain stuck in neutral,
I stare blandly at a waking world.
A darkened hush still veils my view,
but things are softly stirring.
A car drives by,
and my mind goes down the road
to anywhere but here.
Sweet procrastination,
temptations abound,
and eyelids shutting,
don't make a sound.

some people just want to look cool by having a bunch of "friends" I generally only friend the people I've had a few good conversations with, or those I just click with.

... nope. But I know where one of John Travolta's houses is! Sorta... *sigh* not many famous people come to Maine, unless they're barking mad. Or extremely "outdoorsey" meaning they buy a huge log cabin with all the luxuries, and call it roughing it.

The Bush's have a place in Kinnebunkport!

(I am being VERY sarcastic here)!! laugh

Ahg!! >.< I feel as if my hickville heritage has been somehow soiled!

Sorry about that..I just had to throw that in there...no harm intended! flowerforyou

Meh... don't mind me... I just generally think of anyone who wasn't raised in the wilderness as a yuppie ant/or flatlander.

ask that question to any deaf person, they would give anything to Even feel for a minute, what it would be like to be hearing, a blind person, what it would be like to see... I've been around it all...

I wouldn't say ANY... there are a few out there who've actually refused procedures that could let them hear. Some people actually take pride in their "disability" or rather, their resilience in overcoming their obstacles. I'll admit, it's not something that most people would ask someone who was already disabled, because they don't really have a choice, but many people are freaked out about losing something they have, which is why it makes it an interesting hypothetical. It wasn't aimed as something offensive, but more a chance at introspection, which thing do you think you could get along without the best, which would you regret least? He's not saying that they're any worse off than others, he's just saying it would be a challenge for people to try and adapt to such a change.

Keep a secret stash of snackfoods up somewhere where they can't get them! like top shelf of your closet, or in a drawer somewhere. Then if you have the snackfood craving, you have something for yourself.

I actually used to hide candy from my younger brothers... it was a difficult task... wiley buggers...

If you had to choose in order between being 1. Paralyzed from the waste down, 2. Being Blind, or 3. Being Deaf which order would you choose these from you can deal with it, to the worst. I understand all of these things can be life changing. Here is what I would choose if had to deal with them.

1. Paralyzed from the waste down.
2. Deaf.
3. Being Blind last.

considering BOTH my parents are deaf, my sister's Hard of hearing, and my nefew is deaf, and I WAS RAISED in a Deaf household.. I kinda take offense to this.

I don't quite see why you would... he's not bashing deaf/blind/paralyzed people... he's just posing a hypothetical about which function you would give up... like asking whether you'd rather throw out all your music, or throw out all your photo albums... except with bodily functions.

This is the best Milwaukee Iced Coffee I've ever tasted!

I've never been to Milwaukee... nor have I ever had iced coffee... or even coffee for that matter...

I have, however, had chocolate covered espresso beans... and that was exciting... hehehehe

And your daughter continues to sound soooooo adorable. Ugh. Makes me want babies.

... yup. Same thing happened to me when I watched "Juno" but then I realized that I either needed to finish school, win the lottery, or marry someone rich first. I am too far in debt to have kids right now.

The Ventripid Urbigs were wanly wallowing
as the yepish teggle I was following.
It trunged serenly upon wessle grasses,
but twitched its nose at the scent of molasses.
It gaffortled my way at a gundgulous pace,
And a Clamortalus look came over my face.
I dove to the side, in a rhub-ghub shrub,
And the teggle did pause as its withers did flub.
I held out gingerly a ventubular dish
and it snardoogled it all with great relish.
I slipped a small rope around it's great neck,
and it reared back sounding a massive kekkekk!
I held on tightly as it swung me around,
and with greater volume was the kekkekk sound!
A great HERD of teggles came gaffortling through,
and I was left blaffed, and knew not what to do!
I let go of the rope, and ran straight into a branch,
and I dribly unsettled a kentacticus cranch.
The teggles gafummbled, and then they guffeyed
And finally at last they garumphulled away.
Someday I'll catch one, that Rabtaculous beast,
But I'll settle for my dignety, for now at least.
